No one had the right to tell a slave owner what they could or couldn’t do with their body. Their rights trumped the rights of a nonhuman that existed within their body of land. Etc etc etc.
Strange how the justifications align with today’s debate over abortion.
It feels like the same kind of tension exists across our country. Split down the middle.
What will be?

Anonymous14This issue is one of the few where I do not take a strong stance either way, and I understand both sides of this argument.
Being a Libertarian first and foremost I view all things through a lens of Sovereignty, and it goes a bit like this-
On the one hand, yes, the woman who says my body my choice is right on some level, it is her body.
The problem is that is 1/2 somebody else’s life in there. Where are the men’s rights on this front? There are none. The killing of a man’s child is up to women, also, the 18 years of paying for it by him are up to her as well if she keeps it. Double f~~~ing standard. It should only go one of those two ways. If men do not get a say in the matter, they should NEVER be forced to have to pay for it, it really is that simple.
Then, lastly, there is the unborn baby’s right to life to consider, where are his rights? I am an Atheist, so I do not approach this from a religious standpoint, just logic. That is a kid in there waiting to be born, there is no arbitrary cut off point as to where life begins in the womb. It begins at conception if we are to be honest.
The only rational way to deal with it all is that if men get no say in it, they also should not be held responsible. Many men are tricked into fatherhood via “it’s ok, I am on the pill”. Many men are tricked into fathering someone else’s child as well… Far too much bulls~~~ going on all in favor of women and deceit.

Anonymous1But you can’t choice to end your life when you are dying. Instead we will chain you to the bed and keep you alive as long as we can make money off of you.
F~~~ that.

I am on the fence about abortion too. I see both sides. Both sides make valid points and both sides can be assholes about it.
I am however, fiercely opposed to funding it with tax payer dollars.
Abortion is here and you cannot put that genie back in the bottle. In other words no matter what laws are made/unmade it will still happen.

Being a Libertarian I am 100% with that. What many don’t get about me yet, and Libertarians for that matter, is that our arguments all hinge on this same logic. War would be the perfect example. It is not war in my interest, often times not even in my countries interest… I did not get to vote for it either… Why should I have to pay for it?
It all boils down to all taxes are theft really because they are used for s~~~ you don’t agree with. I would much rather have pay per use fees than the system we have now of raping everyone and using it for s~~~ they often times don’t agree with, or even worse, don’t even get to vote on for that matter.
I just find it interesting that an unborn fetus is bound to the master in the womb.
Similar righteous indignation debating when a human has rights.
I had never seen it in that context.
I am not on the fence regarding abortion.
As men we have a responsibility. If we do not insert our sperm we have made a choice. Once you insert your sperm your choice is over.
As women, they have a responsibility. If they do not allow sperm to be inserted they have made a choice. Once sperm is inserted they have made a choice.
Before insertion of sperm each has Pro-Choice. After conception each has no choice.
Killing a baby is not a choice but rather a decision to murder a human being.
It is a decision that they will have to live with all of their life. If they can live with that decision then their is no bounds they cannot cross when dealing with human beings.
If a woman can murder her unborn child, how will you expect that she will treat you? She will treat you with her Pro-Choice.
Thus, no debate of words can ever work to bring understanding to this type of being. They are the slave owners of the being within them. They can do no wrong.
Beware of this beast.

If abortions were illegal, women who wanted them would simply go into an alley with a coat hanger and do it themselves. I can see the argument in favor of legalized abortion, but I don’t think taxpayer money should fund them.
"Don't follow in my footsteps...I stepped in something."
You reminded me of the time I mass triggered tumblr advocating for slavery saying “who wouldn’t want someone to do all their chores and suck their b~~~~ empty?” I’d even be willing to pay the extra grand for a cutey patootie child slave lol.
Same goes for abortion. I’m fine with abortion I just can’t stand how smug women are about it. Abortion should be left up to a judge, a doctor, or at least the man who impregnated a woman. Basically anyone qualified to decide life and death so not a woman.
As far as back ally abortion. I don’t believe that’s what would happen. If I did I’d just vote prolife so that DID happen and scream CRAWLING IN MY CRAAWWWLLLL
