Six Weeks on the Road

Hey guys,

Just a quick update here. I’m sitting in a boondock camp site a mile or two off the highway just north of Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico, listening to the wind produce harmonic songs through all the oil pipes at the pumping stations in the region. It’s eerie but cool.

So it’s been just shy of six weeks since I moved out of my house and hit the road… I realize there are people who have been doing it for years but hey, that’s other people… and wanted to tell you guys what I’ve been up to. So far no stray dogs or women have joined the effort.

I started off in Flagstaff, Arizona for a weekend at Overland Expo to check out campers and overland vehicles, then spent a few days in Sedona to check out the weirdos and shop for crystals. After that I went to Tucson to visit Biosphere 2 and the Pima Air and Space museum, hung out in El Paso for a couple of days (el Paso… it’s literally just a pass in the mountain range) and then did a couple of days in Roswell, New Mexico where I went to the UFO museum and talked to the locals about living in a s~~~ tourist town.

Today I’m going into Carlsbad Caverns and then tomorrow I’m pushing off for McDonald Observatory where I’ll join an all day tour of the big telescope there and do a nighttime “star party” with the local astronomers.

After that it’s off to the Caverns of Sonora and then to New Braunfels to spend a couple of days f~~~ing off in the water at Schlitterbahn, the world’s most awesome water park.

I just hit subscribed Doc! You’re inspiring me to see more of this planet I dwell on! I already know all the cool spots in this 5 state region and the eastern seaboard. I wanna go out West and and include visiting a dude I know tied to the movie industry, just to see the inside scoop on that s~~~hole.

Sounds great, Doc. I’ll definitely check out your youtube channel. FYI stay away from the PCH in California near Big Sur. I just saw a picture of a 40 foot tall pile of dirt and rock that’s covered Highway 1. Happy travels!

Doc; Greg and I were wondering about the possibility of you hooking up with MGTOW brothers in that neck of the woods. Tattodave is in AZ and I think that Pedal Run Row is also in AZ. You could be the MGTOW ambassador for the west. ?????

I’d be happy to meet up with anyone whose town I pass through. I’m at Fort Davis, Texas at the moment… going to be here for a couple of days visiting the McDonald observatory. After that I’m going to the Caverns of Sonora and then New Braunfels to spend the weekend at Schlitterbahn.
