Should America ban AUTOMATIC rifles?

Personally, i think the US should ban automatic ones. All other guns should be legal, as part of the constitution.

People are not allowed to carry around bombs that can kill 50+ ppl at once. So why should people be allowed to carry automatic guns that do the same?

If citizens wanted to fight the government (due to corruption or some form of evil), the US military has much superior weapons than automatic rifles (such as large fleets of fighter jets). There’s no chance of winning against your own military.

Let’s discuss, and please explain your reasoning.

Automatic weapons were already banned and have been since 1986.

The only way to get them is with a class 3 weapons license. Which some firearms dealers can’t even get.

No, what happened today, happened because he was able to buy these weapons, otherwise, that psycho would have killed 2-3 people tops.

I’m ok with people buying pistols, but having citizens buy automatic weapons with which they can group together into a militia is totally f~~~ed up. Think of what’s going on in Columbia, yeah sure all those Farc and others got their weapons legally, but if things ever go the wrong way in the states, people may start building their own small armies, same as in Columbia.

I would add that modifying a semi-auto into full auto is illegal (not sure if it is if you have the class 3).

Nobody is trying to take your guns

They only want to make you register them, restrict transfers, ban certain guns, limit magazine capacity, prohibit carrying them, ban or limit ammo, require they be inoperable when not in use, require insurance to own, require you to buy high priced/low reliability “smart guns”, make other arbitrary laws, and, if we catch you violating any of these made-up rules, throw you in prison… at which point we will take your guns.

We are already headed in this direction longer-term. The empowerment of the American woman will only continue as a result. Men need to wise up and learn how to protect themselves using all available tools. It could be knowledge, weapons or a combination. It all depends on your specific locality and lifestyle.

Apparently BMW doesn’t know how difficult it is to legally own a fully auto-weapon. It is nearly impossible. I might also point out that full auto is ONLY effective in crowded areas–other wise its just a waste of ammo.

Besides even if they were illegal how is that going to stop someone intent upon committing a crime in the first place? Only liberals think that a bank robber, mugger, murderer is going to think to themselves: “Yeah I’m going to commit this crime BUT OH MY I’d be breaking the law if I use a gun so I guess I’ll behave myself.” Besides any gunsmith worth his salt can convert a semi-auto to full auto without much effort.

There is a better solution to the Vegas attack. I would bet $100 that the catalyst for this event is a bitch–somewhere somehow a c~~~ is involved. This guy’s attack was rage-fueled, not personal. I wonder if he knew about MGTOW or had access to MGTOW. And if WE as a group could have addressed his red-pill rage. Imagine the effects of a sawed off 12 gauge shotgun with a large buckshot? In close would be a slaughter. I’m not promoting this but 6 3 inch cshells can f~~~ a lot up in a hurry. Any time this happens the anti American idiots want weapons banned. It’s never good for our freedoms.
