Should a MGTOW man see a FEMALE therapist?

There are many good reasons to never see a female therapist. But you are not necessarily safe with a male therapist either. He could be a white knighting, feminized mangina.

I can understand why you may want to talk to someone to process all this gender issue stuff. It can be pretty overwhelming. But I would suggest to you to if you do decide counselling or therapy is the way for you that you dont dive in full on.

You may have to go through several people to find one that works for you. Tell them on the first meeting that you are questioning gender issues and talk a little about MGTOW. Sit with it for a couple of days to process the meeting and gage their responses. If they seemed like they weren’t trying to steer you to an agenda and were open minded, they may be the person for you to work with. Trust is a huge thing in this environment, so you have to feel you can trust them, and you don’t want to find out when you going through some crisis that they are betraying you.

Remember the child abuse witch hunts in the 80’s where mostly men were being destroyed with false allegations of mass child abuse. Often counsellors were responsible for influencing children to lie, convincing the children they had been abused, and destroying a number of men in the process.

I want to correct my statement and not say “questioning gender issues”. Makes it sound like you are looking for sex reassignment surgery. How about “questioning male self sovereignty within a gynocentric culture.”?
