This is big news in Romania right now because this woman who is a Prime Minister talked in English at a meeting at UN. It was not really a talk, she read from paper, like 6th grade school pupils. She could have a translator like the other who talked before as you can see in the first 20 seconds. And the talk is about gender pay gap, dont remember any details, dont need to. But you can understand now by assesing her skils if she deserves to be paid as a prime minister. You can asses the importance of the topic and tell us if our money is being wasted. I bet she earns more than you western men, but what skill does she bring to her employer ? Her employer are the men being taxed for so many whores, one and a half million public sector workers. And the working class is shrinking, they fear there are not enough men to contribute to their pensions.
Matriarchy taxes us. Patriarchy taxes us. No Fucks Given! If they give us pains, lets give them pains. Daily.
OK why is this a big issue?
As I said in the first sentence, they say her English skills are like those of a 6th grader, even students talk better. It hapens often for prime ministers to cheat on their PhD and then to loose their credentials later, too many incompetent people get to the top.
Thats what they see as the big issue. But nobody said anything about the subject she talked about. US didnt do a very good job to export feminism over here. Russia did a better job to export other leftist ideologies to Romania.

Excuse me but you didn’t say in the first sentence that her English skills are like those of a 6th grader. Your first sentence was this:
This is big news in Romania right now because this woman who is a Prime Minister talked in English at a meeting at UN
It is sentence 2 where you said she spoke like a 6th grader…and is she the prime minister or romania’s ambassador to the UN.
I think you missed the point of my question, so let me rephrase: Why is the fact that this woman read her statement in English a big issue…seems kind of minor to me. I mean who cares what language she is using? How does this matter?

Anonymous25The important issues are:
First;
“gender pay gap”
On what evidence? For what reason are they ignoring all the evidence that the gender pay gap is a myth?
Second;
The UN is not democratically elected. They are not accountable to the electorate. They do not get to tell countries what to do. This has nothing to do with the UN. This is a democracy, not a UN dictatorship. The UN don’t get to tell us what to do, they can go do one
The UN is in direct contradiction to the purpose it was set up for. Down with the UN
Time to destroy the organisation like we are destroying the EU off with Brexit. We started it with the Magna Carta and we wont stop
A government of the people, by the people, for the people.
@pistolpete Yes it is a minor issue to me too the fact that she didnt talk good English, everything politicians do is minor issue to me. Yes I missed the point, you asked WHY they made it a big issue. I can only guess that people expected someone who could speak better for her job. She is one of the Ministers actually, not the top minister. I do not know who else was invited at that UN meeting but I think any politicians can talk there without being an ambassador. If the issue is a woman issue they can break any laws.
I agree UN is a bureaucracy, very often makes the front page of the news.
Matriarchy taxes us. Patriarchy taxes us. No Fucks Given! If they give us pains, lets give them pains. Daily.
Ok thank you, I get it now. Its just another romanian guy posted a thread earlier about the top news in the country and it had something to do with a guy killing a call-girl and the hunt for him.
