It’s no surprise that women want to have the image of being hard working, self-reliant and independent… that would make it easier for them to continue to absorb resources for men without consequence.

But manufacturing that image in the popular culture versus actually putting in the hours to do the work…

Boy are they going to be surprised when men truly start dropping out in large numbers and the women at the top start having to pay taxes to support the women at the bottom. Once we’re out of the fight and it becomes rich white women against poor black ones, the real fireworks will start.

I think I’m going to need to get a popcorn maker.

This thread just answered a question about a lot of the older women that worked for the same corporation where I worked. Years ago a co-worker and I started noticing and commenting on all of the old women with horrible looking hair loss. I have never seen this anywhere else in my life except at work. It’s got to be the stress. Women really aren’t wired for work like this as men are. I didn’t start showing hair loss, and it’s still not near as bad as these women’s, until after I retired and had to deal with the stress of one son’s domestic violence arrest and the other one’s wife’s affair.
