I just had a recollection from my salad days.

When I was a young soldier, I remember I was with a group of my peers ogling an attractive young woman. Our enthrallment must have been pretty obvious. I say this because there was one man in the group that asked what we were getting all bent out of shape about? “She’s just a woman” he said. “There isn’t anything that she has that every other woman has”.

At that time I inwardly questioned weather or not he had observed some of the heifers that could be found around just about any military installation.

Today I realize if you take away a woman’s looks that 99.99% of the women you will meet will have nothing to offer a man that is any different from what other women have.

They are just women. The comprise about half of the world’s population. They are not unique.

When you come to think of it, she might even have less to offer than an average chick. The 10/10 has always had that to pave the way for her and get manginas falling at her feet. The average girl has to be cool enough to get guys to like her for what she actually offers.

I think that’s my biggest problem with the PUA approach. Start at the big fish and work your way down to a guppy, but going home alone is failure.

They could actually “hook up” with a decent chick in half the time and maybe have somebody they might want to talk to again.

For every 10, there’s a guy that tried to hard to get her that now realizes that he’s tired of her s~~~.

A SF series called The Widowmaker by Mike Resnick had a nice bit about this. The overall plot was an assassin is dying of a disease. To cover the cost of his cryogenic freezing and eventual treatment they clone him and use his clone as an assassin. The first clone was trained and sent out. Met a girl had sex fell in “Love”and was killed shortly thereafter defending her.

The second was trained then sent to a high class whore house for 2 weeks having a different girl each time to make him realize a pussy is not the end all be all. That one worked much better.
