Gents, welcome to The Shed of Doom!

Safety rules: All guns are loaded. All knives are sharp. All stoves are hot. All women are like that.

That’s standard Vermont construction, I see it all the time! My fort from when I was 13 is considered Hollywood Hills in Vermont! The Subaru Outback is a Vermonsters Cadillac! There not rust holes, there vents! Roof snow rakes aren’t just for removing snow, they’re for saving your life! They don’t go to the doctor for penicillin, they lick the walls! The ground is always soggy AROUND THE SEPTIC SYSTEM! The outhouse is for solid waste! Tar paper is the states most used roofing! siding too! No windows are newer than 1856! The electrical system dual pole 1921. The bridges are made of wood! the roads are 1787 dirt!

I have been in and around the construction business most of my life. I could go on all day how wrong this picture is. It has to be a joke. Even barring permits and sheer common sense, I will list the three most basic mistake here.

    1. No foundation. There are no concrete foundation, nor even concrete footers.

    2. All the lumber is two-by-fours. If concrete footers are use, the floor needs to be at least two two-by-sixes nailed together. And the ceiling needs to be two-by-sixes as well. Also, all the lumber is space to far apart.

    3. Clearly there is not even a basically blueprint plan. Nor, has a string line, square, no a measuring tape, been used on this thing.

I won’t call it a structure, because a hard wind could literally knock it down.

The good news out of this picture is that the lumber looks new and in good condition. And most of what has been used could be taken apart and salvaged to make a proper structure.

Ground doesn’t look too level either.

It’s for real. If you read the first six or seven pages, you’ll be hooked, like watching a slomo train wreck.

    LOL!

Stan, I guess that is the only way to describe it.

Rennie, you’re right. The ground is not level.
