I liked the idea of this thread. It feels like sharing stories at the campfire at night like in the show Are You Afraid of the Dark? Damn I miss that show. LOL
I will share some I remember :
– One time when I was a little kid I was playing with my action figures in our living room at our house in my mother’s hometown. Then I heard a noise like someone stepping in the garden. The front door was open. I looked at the open front door and saw a leg dressed with jeans. It had just stepped inside the house (the living room is really big and separated in two parts by an archway). I was so scared that I didn’t wait to see who it was and if it was more than a leg.
My parents were drinking some coffee at the kitchen so I ran to them. I was ghost white because of that scare but didn’t immediately tell them what happened. I waited a little and after hearing nothing else I returned to the living room and no one was there and nothing was out of place.
Then I ran back to them and told them what I saw.
Some days later they told me my grandmother’s wished to be buried with a certain dress but when the day came they couldn’t find it so they dressed her with jeans pants.
I don’t know if was my grandmother trying to talk with me or just my imagination but thank god it wasn’t a thug because he could have killed because I hesitated to tell my parents (it sucks to be a little kid).
– Four years ago, one day I was in the car with my parents going to my mother’s hometown. We were in the highway that connects the city we currently live and her hometown. I was looking through the window when I say a really distant airplane in the sky. Then I noticed it looked kind of circular and had too many lights. The lights were white and seemed to be about 6 or 7. It seemed to be following us because as the car made some sharp turns in the road I noticed the object seemed to fly like it was trying to get steady at our right side (but still really above us).
I waited like 10 min to tell my parents that this object seemed to be going our way. I was in the backseat and had my face glued to the car’s window because I was really curious and didn’t want to take my eyes off it. During this time I noticed that our turns made the object turn a little to keep up with us but the object’s shape seemed to change from a circle to an elongated shape that resembled an airplane and now it’s lights were red.
My mother was asking my to point it for her and I opened the window and got half of my body out of the car and pointed at the object (pretty stupid I know). At this moment the object started to flew a little faster and straighter and parted ways with us as we made the next turn in the road. I know that airplanes do have white and red lights but I am sure I saw it’s shape change with the color of it’s lights as well. And the number of the lights in the object was weird. Like I said above I could see between 6 to 7 strong lights. I even made a drawing of the object that I have stored here among my stuff.
– One time my parents and I went on a excursion to the beach at the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina (really beautiful beaches and bitches on this state). My father brought along one friend of his who had never know the sea.
When we arrived, the house only had two rooms to accommodate everyone. I, my parents and my father’s friend shared a room with two more boys the about the same age as my father’s friend who was in mid 20’s. I was a kid that time. Don’t remember my exact age but I think I was between 13 to 14.
The other boys who shared the room with us said they felt uneasy at that room and that there seemed to be some sort of malign energy there like someone else was there with us. The room’s door also opened randomly from time to time.
What was more intriguing is that my father’s friend wasn’t himself while he was there. He became bitchy and grumpy. He went out at night all alone despite not knowing the place and refused to go out in groups like all the boys in the excursion were doing (for their own security). He also complained everyday while we were there that he didn’t feel rested even after having slept. One of the boys who shared the room with us sat on his bed while we were talking and said sitting there sent shivers down his spine.
After we returned my parents remembered that a few years before(between two or three) they invited another friend of theirs to go to the beach with us through one of those excursions but the guy died from a heart condition before he could. They think that maybe we was there with us. Me? Well, All I can say is that room really felt weird and the door was what I remember the most. It would close completely and we tested it but after some time it would open like the handle had just slipped.
Pity and contempt are siblings. You only feel pity for those you consider weak.
