How does one determine this? Is there an objective rating or is it subjective?

It’s mostly age range and wealth based, so I guess sort of objective but in the fact that people pick categories subjectively for it. Still, it’s like 95% age.

People add stuff like wealth and height, but in reality that stuff doesn’t really matter too much.

Only if you’re a woman. If you’re a man, those two things are everything.

I like you Jan, but I just dont care for the question.

Is there an objective rating or is it subjective?

I don’t fully understand the question and I don’t think it makes much sense, but what I can tell you is I invented the mobile disco.

    Joller.

Only if you’re a woman. If you’re a man, those two things are everything.

Only if you’re a physically unattractive, older man. Men can use wealth and height to make up for lack of physical attractiveness.

But an attractive man that is short will do far better than an unattractive man that is tall.

In my personal experiences I have conducted in the past 30 years, I have come to this realization…

When I had a sports car, wore cool clothes, my SMV was at it’s peak.

Hope it’s helpful to your inquiry.

Nope. Study after study has proved that short men are inherently unattractive. Yes if you’re muscular and have chisled features that can make up for a lot, but all things equal women will *always* pick a tall man over a short one.

It’s a question. I see it mentioned quite often on various sites. How is it measured?

My car has 183 horse power, my phone has 16GB of memory. These are objective.

It is actually interested from a evolutionary biological stand point.

Is a female I think is a 7, a 9 for you or is there a universal standard?

I’ve seen articles that say a high degree of facial symmetry are more atractive.

Women don’t pick anything. They say they want such and such, but their standards are like a fart in the wind. It all falls apart when an attractive man becomes a possibility.

Height is utterly worthless. 90% of men are under six feet tall, but that’s the number one thing women talk about, and pretty much every guy puts that on their “dating” profile.

Women will see a 5’8 guy and think he is 6′ tall, because they can’t tell height at all. That’s why it’s such a useless measure. Just more female nonsense.

Dudes on here always whine about “Chad this Chad that”, a 5’5 Chad is going to roll all over the 6’4 Igor.

IDK, blonde females seem to be all the rage, hence so many jokes about them…

blonde males, I am one, do not seem to have the same draw, as a dark haired mysterious/serious? looking man.

I’ve seen articles that say a high degree of facial symmetry are more atractive.

    Sounds legit to me.

    Just my speculations, as usual.

Women’s SMV = Youth and Beauty

Men’s SMV = Confidence, Experience, Wealth, Physical Appearance.

When the war cemeteries are half full of the corpses of dead conscripted women, only then will women have earned the right to speak of equality. Sidecar “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.” - Bob Dylan

There are biological reasons for attraction. In the animal kingdom males have to compete is combat, so the females chose the stronger, faster and more able to defend itself and its descendants.

The parallel in human society is the success measured by… money and material possessions.
That is not the only factor, there are other genetic attributes related to “good genes” and health, like height, symmetry, proportion…

Women’s SMV is a factor of their youth and beauty (fecundity) and exclusivity (purity, loyalty, etc).

Men’s SMV is a factor of their socio-economic (money and status) and physical (musculature, bone structure, testosterone production) power.

The key to SMV is that it is quickly and easily exhausted in women as they age and become more sexually experienced whereas it is likely that a man’s SMV will increase as he grows older, more experienced, mature and successful.

    That’s the sum of it.

    Very well put.

Jan – think of it this way: Women used to get all drooley over Brad Pitt, but few/none of them gave him the time of day when he worked at El Pollo Loco (he did).

Take your average “heart-throb” guy and put him behind the counter at 7-11, and he becomes undateable and totally unattractive to 99.9% of all women.

    Just sayin’

    Meh
I believe I am not even on the scale.
I actually don’t care for the rituals of supposed attraction. Experience has proven it has never been about me, just what I could provide.
So I kind of like playing up the Zero worth/potential aspect of myself.
I figure I’m worth at least a beer or a pack of cigarettes, at the high end she can buy me a tank of gas, for my efforts of bruising her uterus and scrambling her eggs.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

More to the point of the original post, it should be quite obvious that a potential partner’s SMV is entirely relative to the person judging it, based on their accessment of their own SMV.

If you believe you have a low SMV, you will find a lot of people to be “out of your leage” that I, with my high accessment of my own SMV, will think are not good enough for me.

This whole need to reduce everything to equations can be taken too far. Or, put more simply, if you can’t readily judge another person’s SMV with your own senses and sensibilities, you probably shouldn’t be having sex.

I’ve noticed that when I don’t give a s~~~ about women, they pursue aggressively.

It’s something discovered in the future’s past tense:
I’m talking with two at once, they’re all interested and it occurs to me, “Hey, they’re all interested, how did that happen?”
    Quick rewind yields, “I didn’t give a s~~~.”

One thing I’ve noticed is that a fit post Waller does maintain more SMV than that graph would indicate. I guess it’s the fact non-whales are so damn rare. Blue pillers lick their feet. It’s disgusting.

To a one, these better than their peer group SMV older wenches lament the power they used to possess when younger so the Wall is most real.

Sexual market value has been researched. Just google “what do women find attractive”. I found this on the Internet.

What Do Women Find Attractive in Men? – 8 Scientifically Proven Traits

    “Fact 1: Height matters
A 2014 research conducted by professors at Rice University and the University of Northern Texas found out that out of around 1000 Yahoo! Personal Dating ads, nearly 50% of women claimed that they’d prefer to date a man who’s taller than they were.

A group of researchers from the University of Utah published a study which puts forth the idea that a woman’s preference for taller men actually dates back to our caveman days. In a time and age where physical protection of her and her potential offspring were integral to a woman, she would have been evolutionary geared to gravitate towards taller men who had a clear physical advantage in a confrontation.

Fact 2: A bit of stubble helps

A group of Australian researchers from The University of New South Wales conducted a survey with over 350 women on their preferences for male facial hair, and the overwhelming majority agreed that a bit of stubble was the way to go.

Fact 3: A deep voice is more attractive

    According to researchers from University College London, women perceive a deeper voice as a sign of a larger and stronger physicality;

    Fact 4: An athletic body

Women in general seem to prefer a “V-shaped” athletic body on a man; that is to say a strong and well-defined musculature on the upper body and a narrow and slim waist.

    Fact 5: Slower movements

Fact 6: A sense of humor is a huge asset

Researchers from Northumbria University claim that humans perceive a good sense of humor as a sign of both intellect and social intelligence.

Fact 7: Social value is extremly powerful

Fact 8: Leadership skills are attractive also in your social life”

This list doesn’t include money and clothes. But you get the idea.
I used to care about being attractive to ladies, but not anymore. I personally drive an old car and dress down so as not to attract gold diggers.
