Most people into cars would know the answer.

i can forgive you not knowing about wankel rotary you may not have that in america.

In basic terms a wankel rotary has a traingularish shaped rotar inside a housing, as it turn sit creates compression, exhaust…

The benefit of them is you can achieve a high power output from a small capacity. Mazda used them in the RX7 & RX8.

You have Subarus in the USA incluing the impreza wrx or just wrx as they now call it -so you should know what a boxer engine is.

I envisioned that rotary in my head and was just about to mention the RX-7. So i do have an inkling.

Well your name and Avatar are certainly an improvement.
You get my vote if you like Mopar.
You into late models only or the original models too?

Good choice with that Hellcat Demon. That’s about as bass ass a modern Hemi can be in my view.

I love the old stuff mind you.

Check this out. I have posted it before. If you have good sound system linked to you computer crank up the volume. This car sounds awesome. Nothing like the crackle of a Hemi through those pipes.

The 2015 Challenger hellcat doesn’t sound as deep as the 2015 Charger Hellcat does. Must be the exhaust note.

Also, my neighbors already complain about my sound system whenever I’m playing Flight Simulator 2004. The volume is on the low end tho, so I don’t see how, unless it’s the subwoofer transferring sound through the floor (the speaker itself is pointed at the floor instead of the side for 360 degree sound)

The building was remodeled about 4 or 5 years ago updated to current standards. Apparently they didn’t think to put insulation between apartment walls, so you can practically hear EVERYTHING, which was my initial complaint, before I survived the “hazing”.

They actually thought a classic Boeing 747-200B was about to slam into the building (I installed a P&W JT9D-7R4G2 soundpack to my Posky 747 classics)

For a 60 dollar Logitech 8 speaker setup, the sound is damn good.

The previous woofer two years ago i had was s~~~ and blew when I amplified and cranked up Barry White’s voice

Well you survived pretty well. Sensible move changing your avatar pic and name.

I know what you mean about pain in the ass neighbors and sound systems.

I don’t usually use mine. I got 400 Watt amp linked to a set of Acoustic Solution towers.

It can pick up sub 18 hertz so can project low bass long distances which easily upsets my neighbors. So I just use earphones instead.

400 watts? Mine is 150 watts. So I’m sure that woofer you have is A LOT more powerful.

Try a bass test every once in a while (plenty of them on YT). Just run it one time, or if you really wanna irritate your neighbors……..

My other most favorite car is the MG Midget, I had a 72 when I was 18, now I have a 1950 in need of a full restoration. Those little bastards handle real good with their rack and pinion steering. Brakes suck if you’re not aware they need constant manual adjusting they don’t adjust automatically which was their biggest drawback. Otherwise the drive train was indestructible!
