    I like the fact that this band was formed in my state: California (just like Metallica). I bought a tape of “South of Heaven” years ago. Dave Lombardo is one of the best heavy metal drummers I’ve ever heard.

    I had a roommate years ago that I introduced to Slayer. I left town for a few months and paid up my share of the rent but he didn’t pay his and when I got back to town we were evicted. I was p~~~ed at him! Then almost 20 years later the dude calls to apologise and takes me to see Slayer in Minneapolis, this was about 4 years ago. Awesome surprise! Love that band.
