When I was 11 years old, I was obsessed with Tyco electric cars. I’d build some elaborate racing tracks in my bedroom and race cars with my brother and my friends.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ā€˜No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

Nice. We used to have a set up in the loft. Hours of fun. I can see myself tinkering with one of those minature rail set ups when I’m retired. As nerdy as it sounds I’d genuinely like to create a mini city in a spare bedroom or something.

Watch this to see how fast they can get, absolutely nuts. Scale speeds up to 1000 kph. Go to 1:00 mark.
