The Sunday after thanksgiving me and my uncle are watching a football game then this ad came and made me burst out in laughter over it since it is worded in the same type of blue pill wording that my youth pastor used during summer camp because i got into a discussion about marriage with him.

He was a newly married guy at the time and he was brought up by a single mother so he used the wording that a wife is a best friend why i just said marriage is not all that good of a system for men today in our society with a high divorce rate and if i was married then the whole relationship is not some 50/50 friendship (meaning i am breadwinning she is the one cooking and taking care of kids).

So by watching this ad brought me back over 4 months ago and still makes me laugh every time it comes on the TV especially with the s~~~ of it saying she is your best friend and your true love as these bastards in the jewllery company make a fortune off of these ads (for now). And directed straight at us football fans.

none of my friends, especially my best friend, ever expected gifts from me. They certainly never expected gifts of jewelry. I feel bad for guys whose wives are going to see this s~~~ and feel insulted if they don’t get one.

I bathe in the tears of single moms.

The only thing i expect from my friends is that they will celebrate my birthday in a way (meaning hand out birthday punches or something of that nature) i sure as hell don’t expect diamond jewellery nor will i give it but this commercial goes and throws your actual friends under the bus for your wife/girlfriend.

Putting your girlfriend or wife in that spot is dangerous on the account that if she leaves you you have nothing left.

Oh come on, she will never leave you.
A husband leaves his wife = “That Bastard”.
A wife leaves her husband, “What did ‘That Bastard’ do or neglect to do, that caused her to leave?”
If she leaves, it’s your fault, so load her up with any jewelry and she won’t leave. Sounds like a plan.

Funny dumb add i saw was during a UFC event, for Match.com, a women and her young kid she is like i met this man he is so wonderful he takes care of my kid i found exactly what i wanted to on match.com then you see the nearly bald headed zombie appear looking like pure beta male, agreeing to whatever she says and more… I almost threw my fries and pizza at the TV what crap was that during an MMA event.

Someone should make a commercial with a guy handing out cats to all his female friends.

I saw the same commercial and had the same view

I LOVE watches, and have been fortunate enough to have recently purchased the watch I’ve been dreaming about for a long time, very expensive.

Every time I see a commercial for diamonds I wonder how women would react if a watch (let’s say Rolex) commercial stated:
Time to reward him for all the money he’s spent on you
    …Or something like that

In the past I told many women that if I spend $5-10k on a ring for you, I expect you to buy me a watch as a keepsake for that moment as well
…Many hated this, and I always laughed.

” Every kiss begins with Kay”

More like “Every kiss, you gotta PAY!”

I have discovered a truly remarkable list of reasons why women are not necessary for a happy life, but alas this margin is too small to contain it.
