In proposing a fine for masturbation, Farrar says that if a man’s semen is not used to create a pregnancy, “then it’s a waste … because that semen can be used — and is to be used — for creating more human life.”

Farrar continued: “Men have to answer for their actions and so forth. So if there’s going to be an emission, it would have to be done in a hospital where the semen could be preserved for future pregnancies or it would be directly deposited into the vagina of a woman.”

I would never want to see my semen used by an unknown woman that could turn out to be the worst man hater on the planet!

Actually, this bill can be challenged on the grounds that it discriminates against one gender.

I would love for someone to run ads in this person’s district with the message being she hates men.

The state of Georgia had a similar law on the books a decades and a half against that was struck down by the Georgia Supreme Court on the grounds it was unconstitutional.

She’s pointing out the bulls~~~ hypocrisy in soem of the stupid abortion laws. Sorry guys, I’m all in favor of abortion rights within reason. Women have been doing it for over 4000 years of recorded history, and will continue to find ways to terminate unwanted pregnancies. The only real question is whether it’s going to be done by some guy in an alley with rusty pliers and a coathanger, or by a qualified medial practitioner.

I’m also in favor of financial abortion for men.

Taking this seriously for a moment, that would be completely unenforceable. If the idea is to prevent a ‘waste of life’, it makes no sense since sperm are not viable to live on their own. If you don’t fap, it’s not as if you are preventing sperm from eventually dying off.

And of course, you would also have to fine a woman from having her period, since that’s a waste of perfectly good egg.

The bill would also let doctors invoke their “personal, moralistic, or religious beliefs” in refusing to perform an elective vasectomy or prescribe Viagra, among other proposed requirements in the bill.

I actually think that’s a great idea. As long as the issue is not life threatening, a Dr should be able to opt out of doing anything for a particular patient for religious reasons. I don’t want a Dr being forced to operate on my nuts. But doesn’t this happen already?

An outspoken proponent of abortion rights, Farrar has fought against Texas legislation mandating a 24-hour waiting period between a required consultation and receiving an abortion, and another measure requiring women to have a transvaginal ultrasound while listening to the fetal heartbeat before undergoing the procedure, a measure Farrar says “messes with women’s heads.”

And this is why she’s making up these false equivalencies. When I had my vasectomy, the Dr made absolutely sure I knew what I was asking for and the ramifications of it. I don’t really think this is any different.

That said, there are some Texas laws that are clearly designed to make abortion harder for the sake of making it harder. For example, the clinic has to within a certain distance from a hospital, in case there are issues. Things like that. I am no fan of abortion, but I don’t care for these unprincipled technicalities. They are not honest or truthful.

Ok. Then do it.
