Starts nice with sex and good attitudes, ends leaving you homeless if you chose to live with the woman or ruined completely if you married/had kids with her, ruined your mind of she cheated so now you trust no-one, dumb people think you are crazy for being alone but are you? No. So that beautiful girl giving you eyes at the drive through or the hardware store or the farmers market is only satisfying in the start because we all know the odds and the odds are not on our side.

Third option… start and keeping going but without cohabitating or children or marriage. It works for me because I have a much smaller subset of emotions than I used to have.

It took me months to condition myself to not have most emotions. I am emotionally neutral pretty much 24/7. I have a gf that doesn’t result in me expending money on her, shares interests and has sex with me, and I’m able to fake having reciprocal emotions — easy since being in love isn’t real and people are only projecting their own feelings and values onto their love object.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive.
