A few years ago I volunteered at a food bank, it was joint venture with one of the local churches so there was always a pastor present. One day I see 2 young couples in line and both men were hanging their heads and one woman was talking non stop. The spokes woman for the group waves the pastor over and says she has a prayer request. The pastor says ok what is it, and her reply was -both our husbands need to find jobs. So pastor did his job and gave encouragement etc and asks -anything else? the spokeswoman said yes 1 more prayer req. ” I’m pregnant and she needs to be.” I almost busted out laughing until I realized that she was serious. I told the pastor I won’t be volunteering there anymore and he asked -why not? I told him I don’t want to live on this planet anymore…..

I don’t understand why men in that position wouldn’t just leave. Do they not have very little for the courts to take? Couldn’t they devote more time to their own finances without their wives? I wouldn’t know too much about how it works as I haven’t heard much about people in this situation.

Good question Mr Texas. My suspicion is probably the fear of being ostracized from all that they think matters. In this case almost nothing. Blue pill oppression at its finest.
Hopefully they discover the red pill before they waste their lives completely.

Fear, if they are already homeless and have nothing in physical possessions, then they will cling to anything they can to give the false feeling of security. All humans do it with everything. This is what stops people from achieving greatness…….fear.

But when you think about it, whats really there to fear?

The worst thing that can happen is death, and even that is generally quick and effective.
Ive been homeless when I was a kid, when my mom abandoned me, Im thankful for that because now I see things in a totally different way.
I pity these people in lines both Men and Women because they willl forever be blind and prisoners of their own making.

I will however show empathy to the guy I see not asking anyone for anything and is quite obvious the situation.
I went to a Kroger “grocery store” and seen a man that was most certainty hit about and probably not having good times. But not asking for anything, just trying to wait out some cold air in some cover.

I bought him a prepaid visa card so he could get some food, smokes and maybe a drink.

Some people talk trash about these real homeless as not to give them money because they will just drink it away……Well if thats what warms them for the night as they can smoke a cig and have a small bite to eat, Im happy to have given them peace for a night. Growing up with an alcoholic, I know how to spot those anyways.

I help those who dont ask for help. Most asking are manipulators and users
