Russia’s Long Road Toward Resurgence by SouthFront

SouthFront produced another masterpiece: a documentary entitled “Russia’s Long Road Toward Resurgence“.

You can think of it as a “crash course in modern Russian history”. I would have a few comments/corrections/disagreements but they would be minor and would not affect the key theses of this documentary.

In fact, this is truly an excellent summary so, please, do watch is and spread it on your social media and amongst your friends. Finally, please don’t forget that SouthFront vitally needs your support, so please donate generously to them if possible.

Contrary to what the western corporate media wants to claim, Russia is sitting pretty.

Russia is the primary supplier of oil and natural gas to both the European Nations and China, which keeps those nations on good relations with Russia. (This is why the UK nerve gas claims against Russia are not going anywhere).

Russia and their allies in Syria have all but won that war in Syria.

Russian President Putin is a chess master.

The one wild card that Russia now has that could really screw things up for the U.S. international relations, and that wild card is the nation of Turkey.

Turkish President Erdogan has made it clear he plans to invade deeper into the Middle East: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-03-19/turkeys-erdogan-vows-new-military-operations-eastern-syria-and-sinjar-iraq

This is bad for the U.S.

This could reach a point where Saudi Arabia and Israel could end up having a war with Turkey to stop Turkey’s imperialist expansion into the Middle East.

Turkey is a member state of Nato. Saudi Arabia and Israel are not member states of NATO.

Turkey could use that card to request support from other NATO member states. If the NATO member state refuse NATO as an organization could collapse.

But, this is worse for the U.S.

The U.S. is a member of NATO, and the U.S. has treaties and agreements with NATO member states, including coming to the defense of other NATO member states. Also, the U.S. treaties and agreements with Saudi Arabia and Israel, this includes agreements sales of oil being pegged to the U.S. greenback dollar and coming to the defense of Saudi Arabia and Israel.

If the U.S. sides with NATO, this risks collapsing the U.S. dollar as the de facto international currency and political blow back by Israel’s allies in the U.S.

This would collapse the U.S. economy, and make the political divisions in the U.S. even worse, making the likelihood of a U.S. internal civil war more likely.

If the U.S. sides with Saudi Arabia and Israel, in effect the U.S. becomes an war enemy of most of Europe, which could then embargo all U.S. imports into Europe, seize all U.S. assets in Europe, all the U.S. military assets in Europe, and declare the U.S. military personal in Europe to be prisoners of war.

This would bankrupt several major U.S. companies, collapse the U.S. economy, and cripple the conventional logistics of the U.S. military.

If the U.S. declares itself neutral in the conflict, the U.S. risks making enemies of everyone involved.

In addition, any one of these possible situations could lead to nuclear war between the U.S. and current U.S. allies.

Meanwhile, those in the establishment of D.C. are more interested in embarrassing and crippling the Trump administration, rather than help President Trump stop World War III.

Russian President Putin is a chess master.

Probably a giveaway checkers master. Putin’s Russia is the only country around the globe which has ruined the relations with even its neighbors. Not a single ally or a reliable partner!

Turkey is a member state of Nato. Saudi Arabia and Israel are not member states of NATO.

Turkey could use that card to request support from other NATO member states. If the NATO member state refuse NATO as an organization could collapse.

A nation in NATO cannot start a war with another country and then validly request NATO assistance. It is defensive, not offensive pact.

The US could not simply decide on day to drop a nuke on Finland for s~~~s and giggles and then invoke NATO to help in a land invasion of Finland.

If Turkey started a major war in the Middle East, at best NATO will dismiss Turkey’s request as invalid, and at worst NATO would expel Turkey from NATO.

Good to hear from you again. My footnote to your post

The endgame for the economic plan to provide a USD alternative has been in place by the IMF, China, Russia and Iran for some time now.

The catalyst is the oncoming collapse of the US stocks and treasury markets and USD ‘de-dollarising’ by other countries selling off US treasuries and liquidating USD.

This economic crash is unavoidable and will happen regardless of the US military policies now in place. In fact any further war will collapse the USD that much more quickly.

Contrary to what people say China does not want to become the next world reserve currency holder. The IMF is getting ready to use an SDR sovereign blockchain alternative to the USD when this crash happens to re-liquefy the markets – so it is widely believed.

The resurgence of world trade will depend on the OBOR (One Belt One Road) initiative by China and emerging markets. The EU is similarly under QE and has no steam to re-liquefy the markets.

    More on this later.

Russia is on good terms with Belarus, China, Iran, Cuba, Serbia, Pakistan, Laos, Armenia, Tajikistan, Mongolia, North Korea, Algeria, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Syria. In the West, Slovakia and Greece are on good terms with Russia.

I agree with the analysis of Yumbo and Faust. The US economy is on the verge of a crash. and the military is not going to change this fact. Russia is a “bad-boy” to the western libtards and media complex because Putin is a white male nationalist who loves his country. That is why he is hated. Ever notice how in movies the criminals/gangsters are all Russian? What about Mexico? THAT is where we have gangsters and criminals. Russia is potentially the savior of western culture. We should be allied with Russia.

That is where a false flag could come into play.

While you are correct, that may not matter. This is politics after all. If Turkey calls for help, NATO may collapse if NATO refuses to help Turkey. It may not matter if Turkey is the aggressor or not.

It is nice to see someone is keeping up with world affairs not talked about in the west.

The irony is that China is likely the only major player on the world stage whom could keep such a war between U.S. and U.S. allies from happening.

Only if the term “on good terms” means “not at the state of war”.
I was talking about reliable partners and allies. There is none on your list. Just few which deserve at least some attention.

Belarus – constant trade conflicts. Lukashenko is a very tricky person and you will never find a sincere support for Russia from his side.

Kazakhstan – maybe looks like a good partner but this country never supported Russia. Also, we have an unsolved train wagons conflict. It exerts a bad influence on mutual relations. And it may lead to serious trade reduction.

China – isn’t a good partner since a border conflict between the USSR and the PRC. Modern China sees Russia as just a backward resource supplier, not even a trade partner. Just think about, for the last 30 years, China invested in Russia’s economy merely nine billion dollars. It’s ridiculous!

Iran – just because our countries have some economical projects doesn’t make Russia and Iran some partners or allies. When Russia halted a delivering treaty of S-400, Iranian mass-media mixed Russia with s~~~ and blamed us for all sins.

Cuba – can’t bring to my mind when the last time Cuba and Russia acted along together.

Serbia – yeah, our eternal Orthodox allies… Every time is only in words.

Tajikistan – the 4th world s~~~hole that supplies Russia with illegal immigrants and Islamists along with drug traffic. Saying that Russia is on good terms with Tajikistan it’s like say the USA is on good terms with Mexico.

What the f~~~ Pete? I am onboard with about 90% of that. (I know how you like to act surprised when we actually agree on something…)Of course you know I would say that the Russia phobia has more to do with Russia having the nerve to back their allies that Israel wants to see destroyed more so than the reason you give here, but other than that, I agree. Ever since I was a kid watching G.I. Joe cartoons Russia has been made out to be the enemy…Oh, and NEVER FORGET WHAT HITLER DID TO THE JEWS, another big recurring theme in movies and T.V., with little to no mention of the nearly 30 million Russia lost fighting Hitler…
