The whole situation smell. The target is rumored to be connected to the Clintons. The political situation in UK is horrible. Those in control of the UK might feel start World War III is the only way to save their asses.

President Trump is likely siding with the UK to try to cool things over.

I talked to people about this attack. We all agree the Russians are not responsible before the attack was to sloppy.

When the Russian government wants to kill someone, they kill their target with minimum collateral damage. The Russian government has a lot of experience with killing people. The Russian government has been known to kill people in very creative ways. But, outside of war and response to terrorist attacks on Russia, the Russian government kills in ways that do not involve civilians.

Hate to say it boys but if Russia ever did invade the U.S. Red Dawn style I would be fine with it. My Government is a joke, and so is the U.K. and most of the E.U., all of the West for that matter.
