Not by any means a Rosanne Barr supporter (Woof!) but I find it interesting how a show about a blue collar middle class family is once again a huge hit.

Honestly, it must be tiring to be a liberal. I couldn’t imagine how daily life would be constantly bitching and whining about everything. Those who don’t create or do anything amicable life often are the most vocal about “what should be done” or “how I would run things if I were in charge”. Their identity is simply trying to project being a know it all without ever amassing any real power.

This is very easy to understand. The entertainment industry has openly shunned and insulted the Trump voting demographic, which is at least 62 million people, not counting family and friends that agree with the Trump voters but did not vote.

This demographic is a nearly untapped oil field. Rosanne tapped the oil field and struck black gold.

Figured as much. Gotta get the quotas right! I have also read there is a cross dressing character. I don’t really care as I never intended to watch but it is interesting to see conservative politics creeping back into TV and film.

That’s because the show is touching on the social issues of society today. The debut episode had Rosanne and Jackie fighting over the election stuff with Rosanne’s character having voted for Trump while Jackie’s character is a Hillary supporter. Then you’ve got Becky trying to surrogate a child for this other family that’s paying her cash – and the only reason she’s doing it is because she needs money. Then you’ve got Darlene living back at home with her two kids, and DJ has some black girl as a daughter (we haven’t gotten into that storyline yet), and one of Darlene’s kids “self identifies” so he does things like paints his nails and dresses in skirts and stuff, but he also likes boy things too. And then you have Dan who is the “grumpy conservative, but socially understanding” grandpa.

I’ve actually enjoyed the show so far. It’s two episodes in.

The fact that they’re rebooting this show is just more evidence that there is zero NEW quality material coming out from writers.

I can’t believe John Goodman even bothered doing this. He’s had a well established career now. How much the f~~~ are they paying him to do this s~~~?

Albeit the social dynamic of America has changed considerably in just 10 years the vast majority of people are just that, PEOPLE. Americans regardless of their background or views get up every day and go to work, fight traffic, deal with family and friends, bills and the opposite sex.

I think everyone is tired of feeling on edge all the time, like being wired on 7 cups of coffee. It’s nice to see a narrative of what normal every day people go through without all of the blatant SJW rhetoric.

some tough questions for these left wing media outlets to consider. Do we keep trying to engineer society at a loss or do we rake in cash by producing entertainment for a massive market that no one is catering to? capitalism works.
