Quote, “history has shown us that when the government needs to save itself it won’t hesitate to STEAL your money”

It might be a good idea to have a pot full of gold and silver coins — and sort of forget to turn them in if the day comes.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

The government always steals out money, it’s called taxes. They just might stop being covert about it.

Yes a sack of gold and silver is great.

Here’s an idea if you own Bitcoin:

Take a vacation to a more sane jurisdiction. Generate a public/private key pair and store it in a vault on an encrypted USB. Keep this wallet empty, but write down the public key and take it home with you…

If the s~~~ hits the fan in your home country, just send your bitcoins to that public key. Within 10 seconds you can move the majority of your coins the the other side of the planet.

Now not even you can access them, unless you physically go to that country to retrieve your private key.

It is a very good video!

Yes, the video says it correctly, they really seized most of the so-called “private retirement funds” here in Hungary.
(those funds were not really well invested anyway, and also lost a lot in the financial crisis before.) I do not like nor support this “steal money” thing, but the whole country would have been crashed to dust, if this did not happen and if there were no EU funds. They had had better not spend that much and optimize things.

Our retired people are paid from the superannuation tax (if I use the correct word) paid by the people who currently work and pay taxes. It would be a good system, if there were a constant number of people working, but that is absolutely not the situation.

And the more educated ones are “gone Galt” including most of our healthcare workers, and repairmen and factory workers, because bad salary (compared to nearby and other EU countries, half of that or less). (Why is it like that, I don’t know… Maybe there is a better productivity there with less paperwork, bureaucracy and better tools and circumstances to work with? -that’s what I saw in Germany working there for few months.) (One here earning equivalent of 1000 euros after-all-taxes a month and being MGTOW is like being a king. Except, you really have to get s~~~ done, use what you have or improvise and tinker, do long hours more, and learn new things everyday. I just wrote this to say, I don’t complain. )

So, back to the topic of investment, and government stealing money from you:
    1. Money can always be taken away, or made worthless. Think of it as a tool for trading. You get s~~~ done, get paid, spend it for what you need. Not much more.
    2. Invest time in learning. Knowledge cannot be taken away, can be used in the future (also used to earn the money that will be existing in the future.)
    3. Invest in a good set of tools. Chrome-vanadium never loses value, and you can trust on it when you need it to fix something for yourself for free, and get yourself out of the big s~~~.
    4. Invest time in training and self-defense lessons. (I think krav-maga is the best against street attacks if there is no gun.) Guns are not legal here, media is freaked out if one has an gas alarm gun ( = gun which makes noise and some tear gas, and only legal to keep at home). Better have a can of tear gas spray against stray-dog bites. Better be strong enough to beat the attacker, big enough to not get attacked. (I cannot say anything for US, but I don’t think all of you solves everything with guns all the time, so being strong and trained is always a good idea.)
    5. Keep your health. This is unambiguous for US residents (since you have the most expensive healthcare). (But so unambiguous for me too, since there are two parts of the country I don’t wanna get involved with: the healthcare system and the legal system, both are messed up.)
    6. Minimalism. This could be a big topic on its own. You don’t want to pay a lot to keep up things that you don’t really need. If you commute a few miles a day, you don’t need a car. If you are alone, you don’t need to rent a big apartment. If you can download freeware video games with small system requirements, or buy good old games for cheap, you don’t need the latest video-card in the PC. If there are DVB-T TV signals in the air for free, you don’t need a TV and a subscription, just an USB TV-tuner for the PC. And so on.
