If these assholes want to make society cashless, they’ve got to stop charging merchants and customers ANYTHING to use their own money. They can’t have it both ways.

Still, even if there were no fees to use cards, I would still use cash. Even if you, the customer, aren’t being charged the 3% that the merchant is charged directly, the merchant increases their prices at LEAST that 3% to cover it. So it’s a stealth tax.

I find it highly disturbing that they have f~~~ing ZERO red-pill understanding of what a cashless society means, what it entails, and who it actually benefits.

If people think extra merchant charges are bad now, wait until banks and governments have the totalitarian control of our spending. Negative interest rates to encourage (force) consumer spending and make it impossible to horde it under the matress? Yep. And that’s only the start.
