Boxing is probably also in decline as people seen dubious about it’s legitimacy. Something which effects a lot of sports.

Not sure how long bare knuckle will last I imagine the injuries short and long term will kill it off.

Lotta broken hands.. The gloves were used to protect the hands, not to protect the other guy. A hand that hits the skull a few times is bound to get fractured or broken. The skull is the hardest part of the body.

Get out in some of our abbo communities and there bare knuckle fights are done in the middle of the street . Could be up to 3 or more different c~~~s fighting between mobs .

In alot of there fights you will see them with a boxing style . One of the members of there mob might train for boxing then its past on and taught to the others . Boxing street fighters cross .

These guys are a bit sloppy .

Personally, back when I was younger and fighting, I’d usually just spear them and take them to the ground and just unload. I had a lot of anger and others had to pull me off. After several bouts, they learned my moves and blocked my spears with their legs, so I learned hand to hand combat and jujitsu. Add that with muay thai and it was the best of both worlds. Can’t do this in the streets anymore. Cops come around and arrest everyone. Plus, I am too old and brittle. Fighting is a young mans game. But I do miss it.

These guys don’t know how to fight. That big burly guy should had rushed the tall thin guy and slammed him to the ground and just whaled on him or put him in an arm bar until he tapped out.

Amateurs. Speaking from experience here. Very sloppy with the distance, hesitation and guarding. Then again, when I was that young, I was not the greatest with my guard and got hit quite a few times in my head. Lol. Miss my teens and 20’s. 🙁 This was enjoyable.

Lots of eye injuries too.

Plenty of MMA fighters have had their careers ruined by getting fingers or thumbs shoved into their eyes.

Bare knuckle boxing is a brutal sport. Hats off to the fighters for their toughness and bravery, but coming from an MMA competitor like me, I won’t participate.
