So much for Mexico’s immigration enforcement. There is no such thing as negotiating with Mexico. They are not trustworthy whatsoever.

Unfortunately, because of US immigration law, that’s exactly what they will do in most cases.

Once they reach the border, and are greeted by US agents, the law does not allow our agents to turn back anyone under the age of 18, (if not with a parent, the so-called unaccompanied minors) women that are pregnant, and/or anyone in need of medical care.

Instead they will go through an in-processing screening and generally released in to the US.

As the US did not fund additional holding facilities (we can thank Paul Ryan) for the unaccompanied, pregnant, or ill border crossers, they are for the most part given a notice to appear at some future date, and released to a relative or to a sponsoring group.

Average wait time for the hearing…..years

This is why Trump was pressuring Mexico to stop the caravan BEFORE they present themselves at the border.

Regardless of how one feels about such rules/laws, they are the constraints that must be observed by our federal agents, at least until such time as the laws can be changed.

Listen to me, this kind of people only get the minimum wage jobs, and you know what happens ? They start complaining that they want to raise the minimum wage. If the government does, everything increases too, including the government bills, so they just print more money and raise the taxes, all of this together result in inflation.
