I wonder if the 1950s was the last enjoyable decade for American men.

No,if anything it was the last ‘slave to the system’ decade – the whole counter culture revolution of the 60’s had not only ‘liberated’ women from Trad roles but men as well, now being male & single was no longer viewed with as much suspicion.
Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!
When making sandwiches was an artwork.
A tranquil mind is neither happy nor sad, it is uninfluenced by external conditions.
a lost artform for many boys in households where no one cooks and most meals are drive through
The contents of boxes and cans going straight to the plate are feeding way too many these days.

That picture makes me miss my mom.

I’ve never had a woman make me a meal that was worth a s~~~. This myth about women in the kitchen is total bulls~~~. Women can’t cook… they don’t have the creativity or the willingness to take risks and they definitely don’t have the confidence to f~~~ up, eat the mistake and try again.
Watch any cooking show… the women on them are all “hard ass” feminists “representing all women everywhere” and then they crack like eggs and go to s~~~ as soon as the pressure is on.
The only time women should be in the kitchen is to wash the dishes while the. Men sit around the den and discuss politics. MAYBE she can pour me two fingers of f~~~ing bourbon into a rocks glass… but even then I wouldn’t trust her to do it right.
Women used to make sandwiches. Now they just make noise.
I like the light rye bread the best of all unless it’s a subway sandwich which in that case, Italian herb and cheese bread is best bread.
Marriage: About as appealing as wood-chipper diving.

Anonymous6Women used to make sandwiches? WTF?!?! I just thought that they make demands and false rape allegations.
Back then when women were actually women and not the freak show they are today.
