I post a lot about my frugal lifestyle. You need to remember to reward yourself from time to time. Otherwise what is the point. Money is life but you can’t take it with you.

I just got some fab Bluetooth ear buds from amazon for $24. They are good.

Remember the reason you are saving is for you, so enjoy yourself from time to time.

    wow….great advice Jan.

life is like a game of monopoly. you can own so much, but when the game is over, you gotta put everything back in the box for the next time you or someone else plays it.

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

Wisdom! Pure wisdom. The older I get, the more I agree with this. Instead of physical things that bring a fading pleasure, I prefer to gather experiences and knowledge as my life reward. Those always seem to appreciate.

Thanks guys. I was raised to defer gratification. Save for a rainy day. The rainy day is comming.

I don’t want to show off, not my nature. I could have bought the $400 headset that was 5% better. Why?

1 dollar today is worth $7 dollars in retirement.

Save like a mofo, but make sure you treat yourself.

Most things are over priced today anyway,

Pay yourself first, think of the rainy day and what kind

of retirement and I always give a little back to charity

    I think thats important too in our I don’t give a s~~~

    society.

For me the ability to retire early and live a peaceful life near the water is what I work for and strive for. A free and quiet life and maybe an Aston Martin DB9.

It is much easier to stay ahead once you get ahead than it is to dig yourself out of a hole. Yeah its great to enjoy your money…but its important to make sure you are enjoying your money and not paying the banks a premium to enjoy money you haven’t yet earned.

I’ve yet to meet someone complain about having built a passive income stream for them self, but I know plenty that complain about making payments on their debts.

Haha nice. That’s how I look at it as well. I’m going to save hard as I possible can for a couple more years, and when dividend income becomes enough to pay my basic living expenses, then working becomes something I’m opting to do just for a little lifestyle inflation…1000x better than working being something I have to do to keep a roof over my head and pay for past debts.
