Just saw that Red Pill Coin is up on it’s “ipo”. I wanted to pick some up but am pretty confused on how to get some. They’re only accepting Etherium which I have via coinbase but when I watch the instructions on how to purchase some, it’s a mess.

Anyone into cryptocurrency. What do you guys think about this Red Pill Coin?

No, I’m not putting all my money into crypto but I don’t see any harm in getting some.

“Bittrex is an exchange for alt coins. It came recommended but I haven’t checked it out personally. I haven’t heard of the “Red Pill Coin” but I like the name and concept of it. In a way, Bitcoin / Ethereum are “red pill” concepts, saying “f~~~ you” to the banks (and even country) control.

Yeah, I use Coin base but this seems a bit more confusing to the point where I kind of don’t even want to put in the effort to scoop some up. But it’s literally like 5 cents per coin lol.

Well, that’s the point. What are you in it for . Long term?

$10,000 in Bitcoin 10 years ago would be worth $644 million today.

The low cap stuff is where $1000 can really go a LONG way.

Personally, I think Bitcoin / Crypto is the best long term investment of the next 12-15 years. But don’t listen to anyone else.

You can always buy what you think might double…. pull OUT your original investment when (or if) it does… and let the rest ride. Then wait for the price to rise so high that it practically FORCES you to sell it.

You think Ethereurm is potentially worth $640 at least? Sell 1/2 when it gets there and forget you own the rest. Then look at it again in 2027. And we can meet back here, then.

REPEAT: don’t listen to anyone else when it comes to investments.

    This is real currency?
I was thinking more of a coin you flipped to make a decision.
If it was a redpill coin it would say NO on both sides.

It’s just the name of an alternative type of Crypto currency.

I am with Keymaster on the crypto investment. It’s an excellent long-term investment.

There are plenty of exchanges out there. I personally use GDAX.

    Cool name.

Seasoned investors contrast the ideas of “investing” vs “speculating.” Bitcoin strikes me as speculating in the most volatile way.

I hope you all get rich from it. But I will be spending my time learning how to harvest more controlled results over the long term.

yeah, I like crypto and what it stands for. But I do believe it’s a bubble. The question is, how long will this bubble last? If it continues to thrive into 2020 then I’d say it was a good ride. People are saying bitcoin is set to quadruple by 2020. Even if it did and then crashed shortly afterwards, I still wouldn’t consider it a failure. Fiat currency and the Fed Reserve is a joke, and this is an awesome alternative.

That being said I’m literally retarded on how to buy Red Pill coin. It’s like 20 steps. I’ll have to watch those videos like 30 times just to see if I can finally buy some. And yes, I’m hoping they turn to what bitcoin is 10 years from now.

I figured out how to buy some. It was just having to do 3 or 4 different things that eventually tied together to be able to get the Red Pill Coin. But buying Ether and Bitcoin is and even lightcoin is way easier.
Hopefully this red pill coin blows up like bitcoin but I’m not betting on it. This is something that may take over 10 years. Imagine buying bitcoin its first year for pennies. No one ever thought it could go this far.

Me too. It is a part of Coinbase, but allows you to place limit orders.

I am trying to find a good place to keep my wallet and keys. Right now Coinbase holds it all for me. Also, Coinbase does not allow me to trade or hold tokens. /to my knowledge/
