After eating a steak dinner last night, I was feeling sick all night and like utter ass today. Nausea, stomach cramps, had the s~~~s lol. Felt unreasonably nervous and had huge anxiety. It only just dawned on me that it was most likely the steak I ate, and that red meat has in fact caused me to be sick many times in the past.
I was the only one who threw up at my parents in 2006 after everyone had spag bol, I was violently ill after eating a burger in 2002 and in recent years have always had a gut ache after consuming steak which ive always loved.
I must have an intolerance for it which really sucks b~~~~ as i love red meat. Anyone else had similar issues with it? I read it also causes bowel cancer.
I’m gunna stick to chicken and avoid red meat, pork etc from now on, not worth it.
I will have to get my protein and iron from another food source.
Mmmmmmm, I love me a delicious steak, me personally, I have not had a problem with it, I’m definately a meat eater, yummy.
Same, such a bitch that my guts don’t agree. F~~~ing genetics.
At home I always eat Chicken and Fish. When I go out for a meal I usually have a steak. Funny how I never think of having one at home! I’ve never had any problem with red meat. To be honest if you are forced to stick with white meat, chicken etc, it is healthier so probably better for you in the long run.
Women are so bad, if they changed the law so I kept the house, I still wouldn't marry one. I'd rather be homeless.

I love fish too. Love a bit of salmon.
I don’t eat steak much because I am no master of grilling and the price of beef has gone up quite a bit in the past few years. I’ll put lean ground beef into a chili concoction though. Frozen chicken breasts are inexpensive so I eat those far more often. Cooked that is.
The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.I’m really hungry now haha.
Could be a number of things, the cut,how it was prepared,
or just the size of portion.Your body can only handle about 30g protien at once so
any more than that is going to waste.I’d try not to eat more than a 6oz steak per meal and limit that to twice a week.
Good cuts of beef eaten in moderation still have great health benefits.
Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!
I am curious if wild game would cause the same problem?

You can develop an allergy to red meat after being bitten by a certain kind of tic. Here’s the Wiki page on it.
So last year my brother was diagnosed with diverticulitis. He was admitted to the hospital after having bad stomach cramps after eating a steak. A few months later he tried steak again and the diverticulitis flared up. If you’re feeling better after a day it’s probably nothing serious. But if it lasts a couple/few days and doesn’t get better you might want to get checked for it. It’s an infection in the intestines and if it goes untreated it can kill.
I’ll also add that people of the Jewish faith have problems trying to digest red meat. Don’t know why exactly but doctors think it may be due to their ancestors diets.
I actually have a mild case IBS myself but fortunately I’m still able to enjoy a good steak.
I’ve never had a problem with red meat. I do eat chicken and fish almost every day though, because I prefer them over steaks/hamburgers. I usually only red meat on the weekends or when I go out to get something to eat. Otherwise, I usually stick to chicken because I actually prefer it over red meat.
But, I’ve never had a problem eating any type of meat.
Once you have a Fleshlight real vaginas become worthless.

Never knew that. Hope I aint been bitten lol.
I get a bit of IBS as well. When I ate steak id get a horrific back ache for hours until I either went for a dump or farted out all this trapped air and the pain would immediately subside.
I sometimes have to get my 8 year old son to stand on my back, either side of my spine (not on it) and dig his heels into the muscles to shift the trapped wind. It felt so damn good. Or I’d use one of those $2 massage chairs in the mall and hoped no one heard or smelt my ripper farts.
But since I’ve cut out red meat i haven’t had that back pain at all. I had that steak the other night after months on no red meat and sure enough I had nasty stomach cramps and the s~~~s.
I’m eating New Zealand red meat so not sure if its different to my British red meat back home.
I have no issues with red meat, I can eat damn near everything, except chilled monkey brains, and any animals eyeb~~~~. I only did that once.
I am a firm believer in there is always room for all of <insert whatever deity you choose here>’s creatures. Right next to my gravy and potatoes.
There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it
I love meats. When I was young, my biggest weakness was greasy foods. I used to feel bad when I ate eggs and pizza, but I got over it in a few years. Now I can eat anything if I like the taste of it. My biggest stomach problem still is motion sickness from a park ride, or some video games like Resident Evil 4 or later, and Call of Duty. Other than that, I can eat anything, and I love red meat, white meat, fish, solid white tuna and chicken. In fact, I’m having cut up 2 chicken breasts fried in olive oil tonight for dinner.

I hate meat unless it’s cooked black. Super well done. Whenever I eat steak at a restaurant, I always have to send it back and have them cook it longer. I tell them to “make it black” but they never do the first time around.
Frankly meat is just disgusting to me, but when it’s like burnt leather it’s easy for me to think of it as something else. I’m not a big steak eater because of this, but I don’t like vegetables much either so I usually have to choose between the lesser of two evils when I go out to eat.
My ancestors lived on meat, bread, and cheese. Because of this, I have a pretty rare gene that makes all green vegetables taste like dirt to me. It sucks ass. It’s rumored to only affect like 1 in 10,000 of the population. I’ve had to battle it all my life. This in combination with my disgust for meat makes it really hard to find something to eat.
