    What a shame. The F-35 is a serious liability. Compared to its likely opponents it is under ranged, outgunned, underpowered, slow, and not as “invisible” as Lockheed wants you to believe.

    Stealth is not the ace card it once was. Radar and infrared detection and tracking capabilities are rapidly improving and are making x-band “stealth” more and more irrelevant.

    Money would be better spent developing better electronic warfare suites and ignoring stealth shaping of the airframe.

    This man co-designed the A-10 and F16.
    He knows what he’s talking about.

    OH how I can remember how the F35 was sold to everyone—-its the super plane of the future! It can do anything! It can outclass anyone! Reality check: NOT.

    And then there is the shortage of pilots.You can have the best plane in the world but without a pilot its just occupying space on a runway. HEY I KNOW Lets get a crash (pardon the pun) program started for WIMEN pilots—yeah lets equal out the gender gap in pilots! HA HA HA

    It’s radar is unmatched. But if the computer fails the pilot ejects. The fighter of the future was The Avro Arrow. Badass and they canceled it out of the blue. Politics of course!
