This could go on forever but what are some of the recurring themes you have noticed if you have ever been on an “online dating” site?
Photos in sports stadiums. Okay, so maybe they are a sports fan. I am not particularly. Do they do this to attract men who like sports? I guess it makes sense but it is annoying to me. Sports is a guys world isn’t it? Or am I just being sexist? Nobody gives a f~~~ that you went to cubs game or love the greenbay packers. They are just so unoriginal too, like they are always in the same position with the field behind them. I have seen a few different profiles in a row right next to each other like that and I’m like what the hell? Like is there an app or filter on snapchat that puts a sports stadium behind you? Maybe I am not up to date on things.
Anyone see when duck lips was a thing or when every girl had a fake mustache on their profile picture, trying to be so hip and edgy? You can see how trends spread really fast. Quite disgusting.
Don't care
Thier whole reality is manufactured for the image they wish to project. This reality is totally fluid and can be changed at will if the current projected image isn’t getting the desired results.
I once read that some of the greatest movie actors have zero personality when you actually meet them. They need to be totally blank inside so they can take on a character for a role and have none of thier own personality leaking through and spoiling thier portrayal of another person’s life.
It’s just a role. They play for money and prizes and will learn the script needed to get the best paying part.

Anonymous43kids, dogs, cats, at a bar with friends, ball game, in a suv/minivan, bathroom, cruise/European vacation
same smile in every picture, like photoshopped
same I want your money look in their eyes
they all love to travel, go to movies, eat out, read books, yoga/workout, long walks at sunset, horses, and some craft thing
they all drive gray, silver suv, about 4 or 5 years old just old enough to be paid for, not yet falling apart, they have a house, picked up in the divorce. Some have motorcycles or boats. They will want a new car this year or next, you will pay for it. Oh look the water pump broke. The house needs a new water heater. You will pay for it. The boat needs maintenance, you will do the required maintenance on her lower unit.
All want big strong handsome cowboy professional guy with a stable life, no baggage, no exes no kids, no other complications, drugs are ok, man must have a truck or luxury car, and know how to treat a lady right. meaning you pay for whatever she wants.
Sooo I guess that excludes me completely. Good.

Fatness.
Lots of fatness.
I despise fat women.I’ve noticed a lot of them are having a huge laugh with huge smiles (look at how ridiculously carefree and brilliant my joyous life is) *scroll down* kids, divorced, a few extra pounds.
A lot of them have a resting bitch face (I know what I want and how to get it) *scroll down* kids, divorced, a few extra pounds.
A few are sometimes draped over another man *scroll down* widowed.
Fatness.

I despise fat women.I’m chatting to one on POF right now!
It’s a guilty pleasure.
Just waiting for her to blow her cover.
If that doesn’t get blown then maybe I will.

Anonymous6Human garbage, all I see is human garbage. Is that a theme or is it just the common subject matter?
I’m chatting to one on POF right now!
Is her name Chrissy? I’ll bet she’s quite a catch!

They all try to demonstrate what special, unique snowflakes they are in exactly the same ways.
AWALT.

No originality; wonder why online s~~~ stinks.
Pre-reading of the thread I’ll toss in my top five:
1) Pursed lips / duck face.
2) Scrunching the t~~~ together with the arms.
3) Flipping the bird (I really hate this one).
4) F~~~ing dog tongue face filter (I really REALLY hate this one).
5) Pictured with dog/child/ex/better looking girl. You see a profile photo of two people together and you can bet your ass the entry belongs to the ugly one. There is probably some post wall female dating coach telling them to go to sports stadium for duck face selfie to attract wallets. Some went and now they all have to go because hive.
The choices we make, not the chances we take, determine our destiny
The most common message I see is “I know how to hide my flaws”.
A recent trend I’ve seen is photo shopping their face with animal ears and noses…crap like that. I have no idea why they think a man is going to think that’s attractive or enduring in anyway. It’s kind a sick really, since it makes they are trying to attract men who are in to animals or children….bestiality or pedophilia.
Oh, and memes. Stupid memes. “Treat a woman like a queen and she’ll treat you like a king”. You clean houses for a living you delusional bitch.
Ok. Then do it.
Women are followers and mimics, this is how they operate. It is the reason they suck at innovation and leadership.
Sovereignty above all else.
This is not related to photos, but themes in the descriptions:
Profession: a staggering amount of the “educated” ones are either Teachers or Nurses. In my middle age demographic the ratio is abnormal, those two make up more than half of the women, there just simply aren’t that many teachers and nurses out there. Not sure why those two professions seem to have such a high divorce rate, as well as having a harder time landing a new man.
Child Status: A surprisingly high amount of women in my 40’s age range had children really late, like 46yo with three kids at home under the age of 10yo. As in married for a decade, then in their late 30’s crank out 2-3 kids and suddenly get divorced within a year of the last one being born. Not sure why that causes such a high divorce rate, but it’s obvious why they can’t land a man…like many guys in my age range my kids are all either in college or will be in 1-2 years, and I refuse to date the woman that can only see me every-other weekend when the kids are with dad (getting laid twice a month, are you f~~~ing kidding me?!?!?!). The other surprising dynamic is how many childless 40-ish women are on there, much higher than the real population ratio. I have dated two recently, know a few platonic ones, and they all seem a little insane so I’m guessing their neurosis eventually drives a higher number of guys off and the women always end up back on the sites like returned goods. I also have to think that guys with kids like me, who have dated one of these childless neurotic women, are now avoiding them as they can’t understand what a divorced father goes through…and now after dating two childless women, I refuse to date them in the future.
Sovereignty above all else.
Regarding themes in the profile,
I recently browsed a dating site purely to understand the online dating landscape, and over the course of the evening I decided I’d seen enough.
Almost every woman without fail portrays themselves as an international traveller, high on the octane of life, with a passion for this, a passion for that, lived in 6 different countries, work hard and play hard, fiercely loyal (LOL), and yoga is mentioned somewhere, etc etc etc (you know the rest). And then they list this huge set of criteria for a man, and it goes something like: a big smile, kind, considerate, has a sense of humour and MAKES ME laugh, loves life, doesn’t take himself or life too seriously, a man’s man, is loyal, blah blah blah. This is the general theme of each profile, I found.
In reality, they’ve probably been on a couple of good holidays, their passion is actually childish excitement when shopping for shoes (real passion is quite rare, and I’ve hardly ever met a woman who feels true passion), have kids, been divorced, or are still married, and are complete c~~~s.
Always look at their eyers, becasue they are DEFINITELY a window to their souls, and most are cold, and stare out at you. There is no passion. Where in photos they’re looking as if they’re bellowing with laughter, they want you to amuse them and make them laugh. It’s all on you. Ignore them.

“exes would say I can be bossy and fiesty, but that I was the one that got away, and that they want me back. lol xx”
F~~~ off! Your ex is probably by now about as indifferent as a man could be.
better looking girl. You see a profile photo of two people together and you can bet your ass the entry belongs to the ugly one.
