Any major objection with mgtow directed here is futile and stupid. It’s not here, it’s out there and there is no stopping it. With the amount of attacks this site has been experienced, I’d say they’ve tried to take it off the air quite a few times already. However, they aren’t actually attacking us. The source content they actually have a “problem” with is still there. It reveals to the world who they really are.

In regards to getting shut down? No, at least not in out lifetimes. I don’t think MGTOW is viewed as much of a threat at this moment. As it continues to grow that may change, but it would be too late as most men would be aware of gynocentrism. I see more and more young men being awakened.

I can see 3 ways that censorship could work it’s way to this site. When I say ways, I don’t mean with any success, just angles and approaches to doing it.

You talk about facebook and other commercial sites, they are funded by ad revenue. The more volume of users you get, the more ad revenue you can pull in. In order to get high volume users, management will often censor their content so as not to offend users. MGTOW is nothing like that. I have no doubt that KM would never go that route and would rather shutdown then compromise if funding was an issue.

I have also heard talk about government imposing censors on internet content for the sake of the children, or at least stratifying it so parents can better control what their kids have access to. Software has been around for ages to do that, and there are 100s of groups who would fight against that. You would also be taking on the porn industry here, and probably a lot of feminists groups themselves as they would be censored as well. It’s a fee speech issue. I think we are a long way from that.

A third angle that seems to be cropping up has to do with public security. It’s common knowledge that ISIS and other terrorists group communicate and recruit through the internet. So the idea floats that the government needs to shutdown these recruiting sites and such, to prevent terrorist attacks. Although no one wants a terrorist attack, the thought sounds rather ‘minority report-ish’ to me. So we are stopping crime before it happens based on the likelihood that it happens. MGTOW has nothing to do with terrorism, but it isn’t a huge stretch for any anti-crime-internet-censorship law to start looking for sites that the government feels could somehow inspire crime. I can see a feminist lawyer arguing that MGTOW inspires men to be violent to women, even though the site is 100% against that and states it as such. What if one of our members actually was violent towards his ex-wife, and ‘they’ tried to say we inspired them? The member may even say his was inspired as such. Heck, terrorists are usually religiously inspired, even though the majority of people who practice that religion would denounce those terrorist actions (Christian and Muslim). It is crap, I know, but the law is often not about truth.

I don’t think you take any safety precautions for this possibility though. If anything, the conflict could bring more attention to MGTOW, or at least cause people to really honestly evaluate MGTOW principles on a standard of truth as oppose to a sideshow that can just ignore.

Note: To be clear, I am in no way endorsing illegal activity, if anyone was thinking I was implying as such.

I’m actually surprised this site isn’t blocked at my place of business. Whether or not it is hate speech, the language and topic would make many feel uncomfortable…it is NSFW. I don’t blame your Dr’s. office for blocking it as it could turn away business. It is their network, their right to censor.

This is going to happen and really shouldn’t be a concern, IMO. The problem would be when service providers start censoring the content they allow through their systems. Then, we are truly suppressing free speech.

Aside: I am against the whole concept of hate speech. Hate itself is not a crime, and the definition of hate is completely subjective.
