C’mon. Really? Some 17 year-old kid–a girl no less in a Muslim family–is deemed responsible for “dozens” of adults deciding to pick up stakes and move to ISIS-controlled Syria? I call bulls~~~. She may have started the discussion but who in the world abides by the wishes of a 17 year-old girl. These adults have the responsibility for their decisions. They only blamed her once they got there and found out it was all crap.

Well chaps, as someone who lives in the UK, and as someone who has worked with Muslims in the past (and been invited to eat with them, oh lucky me!), I call bs on this story.
No whiny female would call the shots in a Muslim home, especially one from south east Asia. These girls are cleaning the parents kitchens at 5am (they’ll receive a beating if they don’t), cooking breakfast, working in the family shop. I’ve seen first hand that girls can’t even take a dump without daddy’s permission.
