The rally guys have the biggest b~~~~ of all.

It leaves me dumbfounded.

Raceing and trees.

Any kind of racing… is good racing. Not to diminish in any way from what the NASCAR, F1, or the SCCA track guys do, but performance rally racing was the “Absolute S~~~!” for me. It was the most fun I ever had in my life. It took me 2-3 seasons to find a co-driver that I could click with. Once we found each other and meshed, we were able to start and finish every race we entered one year and took home some honors in the process.

God I miss the adrenaline rush. Entering the time control for the start of each special stage my knees would start knocking and it was such a relief just to dump the clutch and mash the throttle to the floor. After that you were too busy to be scared or nervous.

The best part however was the camaraderie. Every rally driver, co-driver or service crew member would bust their hump in the service area, to help another team out and make sure every car and crew possible was back out on the course for the next stage. They were the most honorable bunch of men I ever met outside of MGTOW.
