So I picked the short straw today at work and had to attend a meeting. Its known to have some feminist speakers from time to time. Basically my job is to attend, keep my head down, take some notes for the organization, and fly the flag.
The guest speaker gets up and starts into her presentation. I last less than 5 minutes before I had to leave.
This is how it broke down. (She says this with a lot of anger and disgust)
“If all men were neutered we would stop domestic assaults and rape. Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate men, I have a grandson. And I love him despite the fact he has a penis, I mean its not his fault. But I would cut it off if i could and the world would be better”
This pyshco stops and smiles, and looks around the room (200+ “professionals”) The majority start clapping, a few yells of YES! are coming from the back, as the clapping continues and more people start clapping. I see one other guy in the room that is also looking around half shocked like myself. We kind of give the nod, and we both get up and leave.So I find out today I received complaints for being rude by getting up and leaving and not being open to what the guest speaker had to say.
I am currently being docked two weeks pay, so I am supposed to come into work, put in two weeks and not receive any compensation for my efforts! (I am clearly going to fight this!)

What country are you in? If this is in the U.S. I would lay it out logically to my employer and dispute this s~~~, maybe even take it to court.

Find a lawyer, and file a lawsuit on the grounds of sexual harassment.
Your employee sought to knowingly subject you to sexual harassment and then your employeer financially harmed you when you walked away from the harassment.
Agreed. Report this to HR but make any dotted line contacts you can in upper management, tell them the story over a few drinks and just ask “Do you think it’s fair that I’m to be docked half a month’s pay for walking out on that?” And if they say yes or that there’s nothing they can do, tender your resignation on the spot. “Okay, I’ll spend those two weeks looking for a new job. Thanks.”

In 2006 a female “guest speaker” came in to lecture our office on “sexual harassment in the workplace”. She was the insignificant Naomi Wolf type and even looked like her. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, waited to hear what she had to say, and she started her “lecture” like a female teacher would open a kindergarten class … by ASKING A QUESTION.
“What is sexual harassment? Anybody?”
Nobody answered but I was THIS CLOSE to saying “It’s whatever a woman PERCEIVES as sexual harassment. Exactly same behavior from George Clooney or Brad Pitt would be perfectly acceptable though”.
I didn’t open my mouth in time, but I didn’t have to(!!) because she actually said exactly that. (Minus the Clooney part, because a c~~~ will never admit that)
Then she started on about what people “say” in the workplace which can be PERCEIVED by a woman to be “sexual harassment”. She asked for examples. Now I was going to have my fun with her…..
“Um…. what time is it? Is that sexual? Is that harassment? ”
“lol…. no. Please be serious.”
“I am! I want to genuinely understand what a woman would PERCEIVE as sexual harrassment! Is saying “that’s a nice dress” sexual? Is it harassment?? ”
“Well…. ”
Well nothing. Within 5 minutes she was done and she realized we were mocking her. And we applauded when she left.
I am clearly going to fight this!

I would probably take two weeks off starting right now and tell them they have two weeks to think about it and get back to me. And DEMAND my vacation pay and sick days and give HR a hard time. One thing I would not do is work for another second.
And I would let them know their heinous attitude is as unacceptable as man who talked about sticking a knife up a woman’s vagina while saying “it’s not her fault she is female”…. then I would ask them if I would get applauded for that.
” I would say you should be ashamed of yourself if I thought you had the capacity for it. Make sure my vacation pay is in the mail by the end of day. You may contact me in 2 weeks time and at which time I will decide to accept your apology.”
In this situation you can say anything you want to anybody if you say it with enough authority.

Definitely a good idea. I might even call him at his house and drive over there directly. “What say i buy you a lunch. We haven’t chatted in a while……”.
When you turn the tables on them and simply reverse the sexes, it becomes VERY clear how mentally SSSICK they really are.

Speak to a lawyer. Any decent lawyer will be rubbing his hands over this one. Making a male employee sit through a presentation about cutting of male sexual organs and then stealing the employees money. Yeah, good luck to the employer with that case in front of a court / tribunal. A decent lawyer will tear them a new one.
Try and get a male lawyer who is not a white knight / mangina. There are a few about, but you may have to do a bit of searching for a recommendation.
I’d speak to the lawyer first before you do anything.
Having worked in Labor and Employee relations for many years as an attorney I would love to give you some sage advice but without knowing what country you are in or what the laws are like I really can’t.
I can only say in the US this would be illegal (Violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act) not to mention a host of labor Contracts. Even so I would not focus on the “lecture material” rather on the issue of working without pay as a workplace disciplinary measure. Fighting the lecture is a losing battle—if your company was not compelled to host such a thing in the first place it wouldn’t happen, instead draw down on the bread/butter issue of pay and work.

For a man-slam lecture to take place it must be in a western country beholden to feminism. In every western country I’m familiar with employees are either hourly, or salary. If you are salary you have an employment contract that specifies a yearly salary, so there is no way to “dock” you for pay unless you are placed on mandatory leave. this leaves hourly wage employment. Again in every western country I’m familiar with there is a STRONG tradition of trade unions, and collective bargaining contracts. These contracts mandate specific terms and conditions regarding any disciplinary action or negative pay action affecting an employee.
Again I’m not being critical, nor am I casting doubt but clearly something here doesn’t add up. I hope Lex will come back and provide a bit more info.

Lex, I hope you win this but even if you do the reading of your post is made me think of Germany during the late 1930s. As children many of us read the atrocities of the Nazi regime and wondered how good people did not stand up and say “No!”

That was scary to read. You are definitely being illegally f~~~ed over here. It feels like there is an actual hit on you at your place of work otherwise who would be looking for others to storm out over speech so obviously disturbing.

She loves her grandson DESPITE that he has a penis and she would cut her grandsons penis off. She is a sick f~~~. Acting like being a man automatically makes HIM an assaulting rapist while she stands there and says she would sadistically and violently perform mutilation on her own grandsons genitals. That is an assault of sexual nature. This all sounds like a classic projection move.

Anonymous0All good advice and you will certainly win this but you will lose your job. HR will have an unofficial “hit” on you and will make your life hell on earth. Wear your body cam at all times. The last thing that the women in HR want is to be exposed for wrongdoing. Have your resume ready and start looking. Please keep us in the loop.

Its a fair comment and no offense taken. Since taking the red pill recently I am trying to exclude certain details that I cannot be directly identified in the future still difficult. I’ll try to clear up somethings at the end of this post.

I’ll admit I’m half ashamed at my morals. Part of me is saying stay stealth especially in that situation (also a divorce coming up – don’t need to be on the bad side of my work – I’m preparing for the possibility of a s~~~ show and hoping for the best) the other part of me is saying if you don’t stand up your just as wrong as the people that are clapping.
If only you had the body cam for that speech.

Update and to explain some details:
I am an officer in Canada. While work place safety act, and labour act will cover most people (than you can sue) – As an officer the police act trumps all those other acts for me while on duty (even off duty technically). I’m not sure how it works in the states. Though under the police act here we can be reprimanded for our actions (conduct unbecoming or an unprofessional act) are the easiest ones – basically I hurt someones feelings I can be charged. Punishment in Canada can still include loss of pay or loss of vacation. (Even with our work contracts we are not protected from this).Now today I have had a meeting with HR – BRASS and my lawyer all present. Once I pointed out there was a video of my entire day I received an apology once it was played. (So I’ve experienced a lot of knee jerk reactions in a few days just for being present and walking away from a bad situation and not wanting to be seen as a sympathizer for this womans “speech”)
All social media is in the process of being deleted tonight. Taking the red pill was one thing but having an experience like this has taught me the need to stay STEALTH at work and off duty. A single complaint from a woman can changed your whole life in a moment.
