Stumbled on to the site a few months ago, been on every day since, reading.

After four+ decades, kids, couple of wars and a divorce I humbly submit that the thoughtful and well thought out advice given here has saved lives.

I generally spend much time counseling members of the military for many reasons. When a guy is going through a divorce, my usual opening line is ” alright, when you divorce a woman, you will end up divorcing her family her friends her sister who is a family law attorney and every friend you have made as a couple. She will have a lot of support and ideas. You, on the other hand, might try to talk to a buddy, but he’ll probably say…sorry dude I’ll buy you a beer but I got to go. You must have someone to talk to that is not emotionally involved to help you through this. I’m here if you need me”

Guys try to tough it out…at least I did. I’ll be sending a lot to MGTOW.
