What Beer said ^^ plus they CAN tend to be “more docile and controlled”. And a dog trainer once told me a bitch will get really uncomfortable when she doesn’t feel the end of her leash.
( Still talking about “dogs” of course. )
I bet that also counts for the human kind.
I’ve had a male dog for most of my life and he was great. Had a female dog around for a while in my childhood and she was great too. I think most of it is in the breed. Some breeds are more prone to diseases, others need more exercise. I suggest you look more into the breed rather than the sex of the creature since the breed, at least to me, seems a way more important thing.
"Listen to all, Follow none"I had large breed for 14 years, male so I cannot comment on topic. He was parading around in forest with large branches, could not be stopped to jump into partially frozen water, would play fetch for days if human could persist. Had this been female dog i dont know if it would be as charged or if I would allow to push her to such extremes. But it didnt hurt him, exceeded his breed lifespan by 50%.
The choices we make, not the chances we take, determine our destiny
They don’t dye their hair or go to Uni so a female dog should be perfectly fine.
Joking aside the other posters comments are good advice. I’ve had both in the past and as far as loyalty and affection goes I’ve never noticed any difference with the different sex but different breeds vary.Women are so bad, if they changed the law so I kept the house, I still wouldn't marry one. I'd rather be homeless.
My opinion is that the breed imparts certain basics but each pets personality is the key.
I recommend shelter pets.
Nail on head Jan…Got my two German Shepherd 4 month old babies at shelter in Mesa, Az…Place was f~~~ing deplorable, but I highly recommend getting a dog there, have never ever regretted it, not once…
No human bs. Your safe!hahha
All my favorites are here this morning, Sage is right, no human cross over s~~~ I have seen..I have a female German shepherd and we are inseparable…
My female black lab passed away 18 months ago. I got her from a shelter. She was awesome. I have a male beagle puppy now who is a coming along pretty well.
I thought I remember seeing this somewhere else, if not, I am so dad-gum sorry you lost your baby…Hope your new one grows into the family member you deserve brother, beagles are freaking AWESOME from what I have seen, I LOVE how they bay…
Men are at a time when panning for gold in a urinal has a higher probability of success than finding a faithful and loving woman, it is time to go your own way.....
