My belief is there was alien involvement. We still couldn’t build one today . Just the alignment to the stars is on it’s own is amazing . Why would any culture wast so much man power on building and then having to also have people providing food . Yes i have watched ancient aliens but even before i had i beleaved this theory . What do you think .

I think the answer isn’t so far-fetched. The ancient Egyptians built the pyramids and the workers weren’t slaves but free Egyptians with skills and methods lost to us nowadays. I think those who worked on pyramids and other monuments in Egypt had special treatment and benefits and that drew millions of workers from far and wide. They must’ve worked in shifts and even had paid days off and holydays.
I think they had work-beasts and machines. I think their priests had real powers, maybe the power to levitate those monolithic bricks.
I’m sure they had slave labor but the most important work (planning, surveying, the choice of materials, blueprints…) must’ve been organized and accomplished by mason elites alongside the workers class.
I think we still know very little about the ancient Egyptians despite decades of studies.
I think the Alien connection is too easy an answer to be the correct one and takes away from the ancient Egyptians’ ingenuity which they no doubt had, not that I doubt the existence of intelligent beings somewhere in our cosmos because God can create anything He wants anywhere anytime.

How convenient, isn’t it? While they portray “early man” as a savage beast who owes his intelligence to a warped evolution theory, the timeless landmarks that baffle scientists are a repudiation of their theories and the suggestion that Man come from Ape.
As shown in MG-Tower’s post, many species thought to be one link to the next species still exist nowadays and the dino/man footprints pictures puts the last nail in the coffin.
Many people take it as fact that Man comes from Ape… I think they should not take their case for a generality.

Genesis tells us that the sons of God came down from Heaven, took human form and mated with women.
All the ancient legends, Greek, Roman etc, tell of gods mating with humans and having demi-god children, giants and the like, that where we get all the legends about giants from.
I think it is the book of Enoch that relates how these fallen angels brought knowledge that made mankind far more technologically advanced than he is now, the flood erased that world so we had to start again with just the stories remembered from the old world, and now the artifacts that are being found.
It is easy to see how folk might liken fallen angels to aliens, they both came from the sky, but don’t underestimate the level of deciept that those who are behind the ism’s, those that want to keep God for themselves, are capable of, question even your core beliefs if they were force fed to you as children.

And we do, in fact, know how Men built them. There is no mystery to the pyramids because we have a progression of pyramids in development that show us how the Egyptians themselves worked it out by trial and error. And we definitely could build more pyramids today if we wanted to. It’s not a matter of technology or math, because we have all that. It’s simply a question of organization. And of motive. A small 20 foot mini pyramid was built over the course of a couple of weeks back in the 90s by just a couple dozen men using the ancient techniques just to demonstrate how it was done. Making a larger pyramid would simply be a matter of scaling up. Sure we could gather together thousands of men to build another Great Pyramid today, and using the same old school methods the ancient Egyptians used, but since we don’t believe in all that pharaohnic afterlife claptrap any more, there’s really no point of going to all that effort.

Yes, I totally agree. I think Pyramids were built during the ice age. The people that built them got wiped out after the ice melted, tidal waves and flash floods destroyed their cities. All that was left was places further inland like Egypt and other Pyramid sites. I got this from reading Graham Hanc~~~ books. As for UFO’s I think its all man made (Electric Powered). Probably top secret programs with Lockheed Martin, Boeing, 3M, Raytheon, or GE. Thats my suspicion.

Seriously, the pyramids are probably the most researched objects on the planet. From mastabas to the step pyramid to the broken pyramid to the bent pyramid to the red pyramid and finally to the great pyramid, we KNOW how the Egyptians worked out how to build them, and from the guts of later, unfinished and disassembled pyramids we know the final methods they settled on because we can see those examples half completed.

From an engineering standpoint, the pyramids really aren’t all that complex, difficult, or mysterious. It’s simply a question of throwing enough manpower at it. Whenever a primitive technology wants to build tall, they have to do it with a pyramid, because they lack the engineering acumen to build actual towers. A pyramid is essentially just a better dressed rock pile.

Far more interesting than the pyramids are the social and economic systems that created the surplus of labor and complex logistics that allowed the pyramids to be built. Those are the real mystery. How they managed to organize and feed all that labor with just barter based economics is the real miracle of the pyramids.

Those stones weren’t cut out of the bedrock. They were pounded out by a lot of men with dolomite pounding stones and time. There’s no mystery there. If you look at that picture of the failed obelisk you’ll see there’s no thin cutting kerf surrounding it, but instead a wide trench that a bunch of men with pounding stones can sit in and bang away. And when you do something the slow way like that, you have a lot of time to make sure it’s done very accurately.

A small number of the stones there are over 100 tons, but the vast majority are no more than a few tons. Also, while it is at over two miles elevation, it’s not “up the side of a mountain”. It’s actually located near the bottom of the river valley it’s in, and only about four hundred yards or so from the current river course. During the centuries Tiahuanaco was actively being built (and rebuilt – they didn’t built it all at once – possibly only a few large stones were added each generation), the water in Lake Titicaca was much higher, possibly reaching the edge of Tiahuanaco itself. And the most distant quarry from which Tiahuanaco stones came from was also close to the estimated extent of the lake. They didn’t drag those stones up any mountain. They didn’t drag those stones through the jungle. They rafted them there. It’s surprising how much you can haul on a reed raft.

I’m not sure how anyone thinks they can make an estimate of a “feed rate” there, especially when comparing it to modern machining methods that the ancient Egyptians definitely were not using. They didn’t use a wire band saw. They didn’t use a circular diamond saw of any diameter. They used dolomite pounders, copper sheet saws, polishing stones, sand for grit, and a hell of a lot of patience. We know this from half finished work left in their quarries and pictures of the workmen at their jobs drawn on the walls of their tombs.

The Vimanika Shastra is pure aeronautical bunkum. It’s also not ancient. It’s from the early 20th century.

Each stone was marked with the date and the name of the various work gangs that quarried, hauled, and placed it. From these marks we know the Red Pyramid (the third largest pyramid and the first pyramid where they got it right) took around twelve to seventeen years depending on how you read the marks. This agrees fairly closely with modern experimental pyramids which estimate around seventeen years to built the Red Pyramid. It’s suspected the ancients were a bit faster since they had more practice at it; the Red Pyramid was Pharaoh Sneferu’s third pyramid after all.
