It’s been eleven years since I touched a keyboard… after producing an album in my home studio I thought I had nothing left to say and was done writing music.
But lately I’ve been thinking about putting together a new studio and today I came across the heart of it.

The Korg Oasys is an all-in-one workstation keyboards… powerful computer, touch screen interface, solid metal body, full sized weighted keyboard, digital audio interface, CD burner and expandable architecture multi synthesizer and recorder… the last and best of an era.
At $6500 MSRP, it was priced out of the range of most artists… and then software synths hit the market and nobody wanted a single box solution.
My local Guitar Center has one… very gently used… and just coming off it’s mandatory 30 day hold tomorrow… to be offered for sale at a mere $2000. And now it’s mine.
Combined with my 32 channel digital I/O mixer and a fresh copy of Apple Logic X, I’m ready to start writing again.
It’s going to be awesome. Now all I need is a nice cabin in the woods where I can sit and work for a year uninterrupted.
Look forward to hearing what you come up with. I enjoy hearing some MGTOW showing their talents. There was one member that played the piano and posted the video,it was very impressive.
Never lose sight of what brought you here.

You’re welcome to use the studio Outback. It’s about a thousand square feet. I’m just down the road here near Phoenix. I’m a string stretcher well I was before I had my stroke. We’ll talk doc
I can see their heads have been twisted and fed with worthless foam from the mouth. Bob d

I made the same decision this year. I made an album about 5 years ago. I was going to do a follow up album, but I was discouraged. I didn’t have much else to say. This year, I put a small studio together again, got Logic X and started jamming. Now I’m about 50% done with a new album. I think Trump may have inspired me. I’m not sure, but for some reason this year was very positive and inspiring. Good luck on your new work and hope to hear it soon.
Well, I got the keyboard just in time to spend MGTOW day playing with it… but there’s an issue. The system glitches after about five minutes of run time… I’m pretty sure it’s bad RAM so I’m going to get a new DIMM and see if that resolves the problem.
The shop gave me a 30 day return policy which I hope to not have to use… one way or another I will be writing again soon, which will be a nice break from all the video editing I’ve been working on lately.
Anyone else out there got a home studio?

Not really a studio. I got some monitors and equipment down in my basement. Still need to sound proof it though.
