With Awareness of the situation around us growing we have been seeing a growth in all areas of the Manosphere. What we all need to be keeping in mind here is that these new people are like that new guy at the worksite. They’re enthusiastic and ready to work, but they don’t know all the implications and facets inside the Red Pill or Manosphere are.

These people don’t know, patience is required, At the same time though some of them can and are self-serving, and not al l Purple Pillers are going to become Red Pill some of them will go running back

I looked at the linked article. I discovered where the figure in those famous memes come from. Thats because I have not watched The Matrix. I didnt watch The Matrix because I dont follow popular culture or fads and I’m no longer a teenager. But if the movie is worth watching / re-watching, I can watch it anytime. Thats what I want to ask you. I know what the move is about. But is it any good to watch in 2017 ?

Yes, it is.

First, as just a filmmaker and producer myself the effects still hold up 17 plus years later. As does the story (at least in the first movie of the trilogy anyway)

What is important about this movie and specifically the Matrix is that it’s chok full of symbolism that anyone in the manosphere can identify with. This narrative also stuck with the general public because this movie is considered one of the best sci-fi movies of all time.

All the way to the end where Neo discovers his ability simply by believing in himself there are parts where people like us can identify with.

So yes by all means watch this movie
