Puritanism is just as bad as "slut pride".

Hi guys. Today I want to talk about another issue: “slut pride”.

“Slut pride” is bulls~~~ because sluts should not be proud of themselves. A slut is like a whore except a slut gives it away for free. Furthermore, these slut walks are usually organized by self-righteous c~~~s who want to expose their t~~~ in public … and then they get mad when men look at them. Idiots.

Of course, that isn’t the only thing I want to talk about. I also want to talk about puritans who go too far the other way.

The concept of “slut pride” is bulls~~~ … but I don’t think that sluttiness is in and of itself bulls~~~. Some sluts have no self respect and don’t demand any. Some sluts just want to be sexually conquered by another stallion every Friday. Those sorts of sluts are actually good for single guys, since they dish out sex and don’t demand commitment.

In other words, I’m glad that the manosphere is taking the p~~~ out of “slut pride”. That’s all well and good. I just find that some guys go too far. If you start saying “Sluts are bad because you can’t marry them.” then you have officially descended into tradcon mode.

I’ll use a literary reference to illustrate my point. The West is like Oceania from Nineteen Eighty-Four. There is surveillance everywhere. The class structure is rigidly enforced through subsidies and bailouts. War has become perpetual. Tradcons are like the Anti-Sex League. Feminists are also like the Anti-Sex League. This includes the “slut walk” people. The feminists are trying to punish men for looking at uncovered t~~~. What a crime!

Fortunately, there are plenty of sluts who are not preachy or self-righteous. They are like Julia. That’s my philosophy.

Women hate each other.

I have a mixed attitude towards H.L. Mencken. On one hand, he claimed that women are smarter than men. On the other hand, he encouraged men to avoid marriage. He hated the suffragettes and he recognized that women naturally hate each other.

In other words, he got all the truly important points right.

Telling a man that men are stupid can be offensive … but telling a man to get married can f~~~ up his entire life.

You said you wanted to talk about puritanism, but barely mentioned it. Are you actually about the religious group, or mean anyone who choses not to have sex outside of marriage?

Personally, I have no problem with someone who choses not to have sex at all, only in a marriage, or logically encourages people who do as they do when they generally care about the individual they are speaking to. It’s judgments, particularly hypocritical ones, that I have a problem with.

Ok. Then do it.

I just don’t like it when people argue that extramarital sex is always bad. That’s the “puritanism” I was referring to.

Anyone can live a monogamous life if they want. I just don’t like it when it is imposed on other people.

There are some people who hate any slutty woman … even if she is just providing men with free sex and she doesn’t take herself seriously.

People can be ignorant and self serving, and I’m not that different. For much of my life, I would probably fit your puritan description. I was not having sex for religious reasons, and I tend to look down on those that did in order to protect my ego. That said, I wasn’t that driven by sex since I didn’t know what I was missing. I was happy overall, and didn’t need it. The same could be said for going to a strip club or porn. I never wanted it before I tried it.

Of course, my point of view is different now, and I see it differently. Objectively, I think I like my old outlook better. I cannot choice that POV for myself anymore…because I have experience and know. Ignorance can be a blessing.

After I was married, I used to belong to a church group for divorced folk. The topic of sex would come up occasionally, and though everyone could objectively see that there was to be no sex outside of marriage, none of them could honestly say that they would not have sex in their future relationships. Very conflicted. No one was naïve enough since we all obviously had experience.

So would I want to live in a world where people didn’t get have sex outside of marriage, and people actually stayed married? I think I would. I don’t want to now…because I know.

My daughter just learned yesterday that there is no Santa Claus. Would she prefer a more magical Christmas where the presents magically appeared? Probably, but she can’t because she knows.

Was life good for Adam in the garden before he took fruit from the tree of knowledge? Probably, but you can’t go back because now you know. (Not trying to push religion here, just an analogy.

I guess I would say, if the seal isn’t broken, don’t break. If it is broken, don’t bother trying to keep the lid on….if that makes sense.

I never understood this whole “pride” thing that people love to tout. Saying you’re proud to be a slut is like saying you’re proud of eating cupcakes. It’s not some massive accomplishment to be a slut. Eating a cupcake is easy, so is being a slut. There’s plenty of things to be proud about, a slut is not one of them.
