Women see cars as being another drain on their resources like a child from another relationship. That’s why they flip out. That should have been money in their hands. She’s thinking…now…every month…I have to make a 300 a month check I could have been using to buy more clothes or another set of useless shoes.

They want want want and any purchases for yourself is money out of their pockets. Women are all threatened if their men look more desirable to other women.

I drive a sensible Honda CRV so there will be space for my dog in the back. But I am really flirting with the idea of getting a Dodge Challenger. Such is the power of going your own way.

I think this car looks bad ass. I owned a corvette for a while and it was a really really cool car.

But it would draw too much attention. I like to ghost so will stick to the most common car on the road up here, the CRV.

I was in US last year and hired a convertable camaro for a week. Cool as f~~~. I did 2300 miles in a week and unless it was raining the roof was down for all of them, even at night.

The last day I saw my father alive, all 3 of us were in the car and she gave him grief about gas prices. Bickering back and forth for an hour about waiting to try and get it 10 cents cheaper. I was in the car with both of them and vowed I would never ride with both of them again.

True story.

When we finally stopped for gas. She comes out of the gas station with 3 chocolate bars. I gave her s~~~ and threw mine into the ditch I was so angry. I listened to her nagging about gas prices and then she blows the “savings” on chocolate bars. She actually LAUGHED at her own hypocrisy like she knew it was irritating.

I told her I would buy her a chocolate factory myself if it meant cutting the nagging out.
Two weeks later Dad was dead.

Isn’t it funny how the right car when you’re single becomes the wrong car if you ever make the mistake of getting into a relationship with one? Of course the truth is not that it’s the wrong car, but that she’s the wrong woman. And AWALT.

Of course on the flipside, if a woman actually approves of your vehicle purchase it means you bought the wrong car.

When women are upset it means you are doing the right thing. Stay the course.

Thought it was kind of scary in 2008….. I dated a blonde (26) who was trying to suggest I should sell my project car (a 35 -year old car I have worked on for years). She didn’t like seeing how much “love” I put into it. I would spend maybe 3/5/8 hours on Saturday listening to music, chroming parts, buying new fuel hoses…. it was a real “hobby” fixing up this old thing.

She sure liked riding around in it — but she hated me working on it.

Then she suggested I should sell it. I had enough, so I confronted her directly.
“Tell me, if I sold it and bought a diamond necklace for you, would you tell me to sell it?”

I never called her again.

Do it brother! Those Dodge Challengers are badass. I’ve always wanted one as well. You can get a used 392 HP HEMI Scat Pack for relatively cheap compared to our luxury(ish) vehicles.
