I thought what I'd do was I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...or should I?

I took up chess and got rid of my video games. On the other hand, chess is available as a video game — win, win!

Having Blu-Ray players in the PS3s is one of the major factors that allowed Sony get back into the console market.

Before then, Sony’s entertainment diversion was lagging. Playing cheap tactics like this will harm PS4 sales.

I think they’re hedging their bets on video moving towards online streaming rather than physical media.

I’m going to stick with my current PS4 for now unless it breaks or the price drops. I’m interested in the VR side but i have bills to pay that are more important right now.

I really hate that whole business of trying to make everything internet dependent. It should be opposed at every turn.

Anybody ever remember when consoles were cool? Now it’s like consoles are more for children and the mentally lazy. I don’t know. My last console was the XBox 360. Hardly played it. It was nothing compared to what you could build on the PC platform not even a year after it came out. I miss the days when consoles were truly cutting edge and PCs were playing catch up. Now it’s the other way around.

Don't stick your dick into anyone you aren't willing to put up with for eighteen years and nine months.

I don’t think I could ever do that. How long has it been?

Yah same with the PS2 and dvd player. They are nuts for not putting that in annnnd charing 400 for it.

Yah it does suck, though with the ever increasing pace of tech its a race to stay relavent. I can’t imagine what its like for the game devs.

Not liking the online push either.

Was planning on spending the winter in VR land but not now. Already have a xbox 1 so not getting a S just for the uhd even though its cheaper than the players currently.

I just stick with my old games and physical media. I don’t trust the internet to always be available. Especially with the UN poised to take over it, cyber criminal problems and countries using it as the battlefield of the 21st century

I also don’t like that with the push to eliminate optical media, they are not leaving us with any good alternatives for local, long term data storage.

Hard drives and flash memory are very susceptible to silent corruption and even sudden failure, whereas with decent quality optical media , it’s quite capable of holding your data intact for a few years – if you care for it properly.

Indeed disks I burned almost a decade ago are still maintaining their integrity. Though I’m in the process of renewing them.

And still no built in DLNA. I am not going to pay for a f~~~ing app to watch my own media collection. So it looks like Sony still hasn’t learned its lesson. And I still won’t be getting a PS4.

Maybe they’ll have pulled their heads out of their asses by the PS5?

Until then, well the Raspberry Pi 3 is still only $40, and that can do DLNA. For free.

    F~~~ Sony.

Without internet, how big brother Sister watch you?

You cannot be a naughty boy to f~~~ up big sister plans, so no DLNA player for you, so you will stop asking question about why you need the internet when you have the DLNA player to run your games.

There is no magic in MGTOW, just recognition of the truth and logical decision how to avoid dangers. The red pill is but the truth, it is no magical potion. Do not think in this modern world men have no longer have natural enemies, men are prey to women and government.

For me the PS4 would be a rip off investment and I’ll explain why. The PS4 isn’t back compatible, and the Resident Evil games that are available to the PS4 are also on the PS3. Plus with my PS3 I can have all my PS1 – 3 games stored on the system. So why should I get a PS4 when I can’t play my older PS games on it and my Resident Evil games are also on the PS3 all of which are stored on my system? I just wish I could install PS2 games on it, so I can ditch those hard copies and save myself space.

Like I said before, I don’t like these downloads from the PSN. I don’t mind buying the full game as a download, but I don’t like having to download the game in parts. By the time you buy all the add-ons, maps, guns and extras, you basically bought the main game twice. It’s not like back in the day with the NES, SNES, or Genesis when you bought a game, it’s was one purchase. I still have my old NES, Genesis and SNES, but because they don’t work well anymore, I downloaded my old games as ROMs and emulators as a backup. I’m not a fan of the keyboard over a controller, but take the good with the bad.

Yeah, the PS4 continues to make me consider rejoining the Glorious PC Master Race. I just need to come up with a build that keep the size and noise down while still being able to run GTA5 fully loaded at 1080p60 without any frame drop. Hard to do in a mini-ITX form factor, at least until intel gets their integrated GPU s~~~ together properly.
