But I was not criticizing your conclusion; I was merely criticizing the lack of facts and erroneous logic in your message. Maybe you are right, but you are basing your claims on a sensationalist Daily Mail article (aka Daily Toilet Paper) and use poor logic.

There’s no brainwashing involved, you are just not convincing. But you can do better, pick an option:

1. Use more bolds and caps, that might help. Repeeeaaating letters more and saying the same thing over and over again could work too. At some point my bulls~~~ meter might overload and blow up, letting your info pass through.

2. Maybe link and/or quote the original published article? I can’t find it anywhere. All I can find is an abstract http://www.medsp.umontreal.ca/IRSPUM_DB/pdf/27932.pdf . The abstract says the study targeted 820 diabetes patients.

As far as I know, diabetes rarely involves surgery. What are you even talking about?

One thing we definitely agree with: the conclusion of that newspaper article, that women doctors are better than men, is crap.

But I don’t think we can draw the conclusion that men are better than women based on that data.

Okay I’m assuming you didn’t read the facts, so let me tell you about them again. These facts have been collected from about 700 doctors. It has been found that on average, male doctors factually conduct 1000 more procedures per annum than female doctors. This means that female doctors are highly inefficient. I’ll put it this way. If my Dr made conclusions about my health in the same way the article is making conclusions about whether men or women are better Drs…then I want a new Dr.

Article doesn’t mention statistical significance. I would bet the margin of error is greater then 5%, making many of the findings rather useless. It also tries to translate quantitative values into qualitative values of ‘better’ and ‘productive’. Spending more time with patients isn’t better or worse. Doing more procedures isn’t better or worse. What’s a procedure anyway? And I would guess each procedure requires a different level of time and effort, so adding them up as if they were equal units is deceiving.

Nah, I don’t think any conclusions should be drawn from this.

And talking about what’s wrong with medicine, I don’t know if feminism is exactly the problem, as government involved has sure screwed things up as well.
