    I know a lot of you had project cars like I did.
    Could you please share your experiences?
    I love project cars. I also like to daily drive them.
    I was someone well off 10 years ago. I could afford buying sports cars and modifying them.
    Now I’m p~~~ poor and can only dream of getting more project cars or even competing in amateur rally
    First I had a Celica, Monte Z34 then I had T-top 300ZX NA and then I had a sweet TT 3000GT VR4.
    Right now I drive a smashed Corolla of my ex-wife (oh the irony)
    but the next year I want to buy a LS2 GTO or a G35 coupe (z350 drivetrain)
    I want to jump on LSX platform and continue it -swapping engines and what not.
    I love RWD and drifting, especially in snow/ice
    I had a snow car, a drift car, a track GT turbo car, now I want a supercharged V8
    I really like ‘GTO because the way it sounds, displacement and stealthy looking (slow)
    I will debadge it, put the holden front bumper on it and make it look like a f~~~ing Cavalier, so my ex wife doesn’t get jelly and demand more child support.
    I’ll put woofers in there and a good blower with NOS but would make it look like a total sleeper Cavalier. But my main dream – is to participate in amateur rally – get a good chassis with the rollcage and f~~~ing haul ass through woods!
    I also want to get a convertible vette – it’s so awesome to drive fast and stoned with the roof off while blasting sick beats!!!
    If I find some pictures- I’ll post them later
    Can’t wait to hear about your project cars!

    I am a ‘restore to factory’ guy. My dream project cars:

    * 1965 Mustang
    * 1992 Mustang GT Convertible (had one previous, worst mistake ever was to let it go)
    * Early Camaro
    * 60’s Pickup

    I have nowhere to work on them yet, but I hope to find a place first, then pickup one of these for a project car… one I can rebuild by hand and then enjoy as a daily driver. I can’t stand when guys spend years rebuilding and then never drive… enjoy what you’ve done!

    No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

    Just like I can’t stand catch and release fishermen who don’t eat fish! Can’t really say I can’t stand them, I guess I’m just sorry for them

    Love this also. Had one of these, just different colour and it was not M3 so less HP but still the best car i ever drove as handling goes:

    Providing I had the place to wrench it would be something like a Z-Cars Mini or a Caterham.

    Why not? Cheap chassis became hard to come by?
