What do I mean by that? Basicly what this means is that for any reason the other party decided to call the police, the visitation order is null and VOID.

It does not mater that the court says you have paperwork to go pick up your son. It does not mater that SHE said STATED ON A COIRT ORDER that you can go pick up your son from the residence.

IT DOES NOT MATER if a Supervised visitation specialist came over with you and stated that she gave permission to him and you to pick up the kid from there.

The police only see that there was a call that you were 500 feet around the residence. JUST A CALL is all that is needed.

BANG you are in jail.

Let me explain to you what this looks like.

1. They will be happy to threaten to break you windows in your car with your kid in it. (Nice touch Portland Police!)

2. They will be happy to open up YOUR MAIL FOR YOU and not care what any new visitation order said, even if they are READING IT WORD FOR WORD. And will be happy to open up ANY LETTERS they confiscate from a person bringing it to you.

3. They will lie and say that no person can come to your car and give you the court orders that you have in the house.

4. You will have your son taken away from you, and even though YOU HAD SPENT 14,000 on a lawyer just to GET VISTIATION.. IT MEANS NOTHING!.

5. The Law firm you hire, (Family lawyer) won’t be able to do S~~~. He will just keep telling you, “I AM NOT A CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY!” (Thanks Jason, your fired!)

6. The lawyer will call you and ask “Why did you not SEE you son when I WORKED OUT YOU COULD SEE HIM?” He gets his answer today and then goes.. Umm. Woops.

7. You Got NO CHANCE IN HELL to visit your kid with a DV order in place in OREGON. At ANY time the other party wishes to call the police for ANY suspect violation, you are dead in the water. You get arrested asap, and you are toast!.

8. Have about 10,000 with you just to pay for the criminal defence attorney. Min $1000 deposit. Make sure to have a revolving account to pay for your bail. You’re going to need it.

Part of me agrees with you may 7 . 6 years has done alot of damage to me . I kept phone contact with kids all threw now things are changing to where she now wants me to have them in all holidays and her marriage is imploding . I think May 7 is right. If you have a crazy and vengeful ex; move far away. Try to maintain telephone/email contact with the KIDS ONLY on THEIR OWN PHONE or PC.
Never allow the ex to be a go-between, because she can always accuse you of making threatening calls and you will then become acquainted with the police and judges in your new state as well.
Try to be as level-headed and kind with your kids as possible and always agree to have them visit you. Never go back to her home turf.
Your ex will ask or demand why you will talk with the kids only and not her. Tell her you don’t want to get trapped or tricked into incriminating yourself. I did this with my ex and she went bat-s~~~ crazy. It was deeply satisfying to see her without control of the relationship. The kids also got a better insight into her behavior and intentions. Keep yourself a good safe distance away, as if she were a hazard. Good luck.
