    Washington (CNN)

President Donald Trump has selected Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly as his new White House chief of staff, replacing Reince Priebus.

“I am pleased to inform you that I have just named General/Secretary John F Kelly as White House Chief of Staff. He is a Great American… and a Great Leader. John has also done a spectacular job at Homeland Security. He has been a true star of my Administration,” Trump tweeted.

Priebus resigned privately Thursday, CNN has learned.
The move was announced just after Air Force One landed at Joint Base Andrews outside Washington Friday.

“Reince is a good man. John Kelly will do a fantastic job,” Trump told reporters. “General Kelly has been a star, done an incredible job thus far, respected by everybody. He’s a great great American. Reince is a good man.”

It was rather suspicious that off all the people in the administration that got run down by the media, Priebus was never in that. I think there are a few more leakers, but Reince was the big one.

    Thoughts??

Trump is not beholden to anyone. You either perform or you are gone.

Media and snowflakes will freak out but this is normal in the real world.

This is why the posts are referred to as appointments.

I work for a vice president in a corporation. He puts in 18 hour days, 7 days a week. I wouldn’t use the word lenient to describe him.

    Peace brothers

Gentlemen, I believe that President Trump is taking off the gloves.

Last night’s s~~~show in the Senate was the final straw.

For the last six months President Trump has tried to play nice and he has gotten only grief from the democrats and republicans on the hill.

One of the reasons Reince Priebus was hired by President Trump was that President Trump was trying to make peace with the republicans on the hill. Now it has come out that Reince Prebus has been betraying President Trump behind his back at every turn.

When is came out last week that McCain had cancer of the brain. President Trump was the gentlemen. President Trump offer to bring McCain back to DC, with McCain receiving a heroes welcome.

In response to this civility, when McCain went onto the Senate floor and insult President Trump at every turn.

Then, came time for the votes on the Obamacare repeal, the rest of the Senate playing their parts to this sick dog and pony show. And on the last possible vote to repeal Obamacare, the honor in the Senate for tie breaking vote to keep Obamacare was given to McCain, as one more “screw you’ to President Trump and the tens of millions of Americans whom support President Trump.

Now President Trump has decided to play hardball. These people on hill do not realize what hardball really is.

President Trump has made a career of being ruthless in business. He is honor, but ruthless.

President Trump can make things very uncomfortable for the politicians on the hill without even involving law enforcement and investigations of crimes.

The congress and senate think that they can force unpopular bills into law, which are meant embarrass President Trump. Such as the Russian Sanctions Bill. Yes. They have the votes to override a veto. But, here is the thing. President Trump can decide not to sign a bill either way (veto or sign into law). This is called a “pocket veto”. Because President Trump does not have sign the bill, the bill cannot be overwritten in congress by a two-thirds vote in the house and senate.

There are other things President Trump can do. President Trump can use the executive power to remove the exemption from Obamacare that Congress has. And with a pocket veto, Congress do anything to change this situation.

Also, President Trump has incredible authority in dealing with international trade, tariffs, and taxes, when is comes to foreigners. Including those foreigners whom have bought off Congress.

Those in Congress and elsewhere do not realize the lion they have enraged.

To give you an idea of this.

President Trump is Reince Priebus, a career politicians, with Retired Four-Star Marine General John Kelly as his Chief of Staff is like replacing a puddle with a rottweiler.

The puddle will yap yap yap, while being an anklebiter. The rottweiler will show loyalty and tear into the enemies of those whom the rottweiler shows loyalty too.

I think a year of having Obamacare as their healthcare program would definitely soften up the members of congress. This would be a stunning move on the part of our president.

“Oh, so you want to keep it now? Fine. Have it yourselves.”

“Oh, so you want to keep it now? Fine. Have it yourselves.”

I think he is holding that card for a special occasion, such as the budget negotiations.

If the Congress forces a shutdown, President Trump can removed Congress’ exemption on the excuse of having to save money.

Congress is so use to have a politicians in the White House they have forgotten what someone with a courage and intelligence can do with the power of the Executive Office.

People forget on President Trump’s first night in office his first executive order was to add an exemption for everyone in every way possible concerning Obamacare.
