Practical philosophy is the only kind I care about. Here’s one I like.

That is a very powerful video. As a man who has tried on multiple occasions to change the core of myself for the better, I have to agree with may points in that video. I personally found the keys of ‘Removing yourself from the environment’ and ‘police your thinking’ to be the two that I struggled with the most. Especially, when it came to viewing porn or reading porn which was my biggest thing.

His #1 recommendation; changing your environment helps.
Not a monk at all, but this year I am working in a fairly remote place and yesterday I spent most the day setting up new colonies of honeybees. I’ve raised bees before but this time I’m going for mainly comb honey, the round style. I wear some protective gear i.e. veil and coveralls but gloves are just too cumbersome when setting up comb racks, so I know I’ll get a few stings as the day rolls on. Ok, what does all this have to do with mgtow?
Keeping very busy in environment away from females and getting stung a few times; sometimes an entire work day can roll by and the thought of women never even crosses your mind. It works.

    RoyDal Thanks for this..

sjur. my dad used to bring wild bees from the woods home and try to keep them…your word sparked good memories thank you also

iliveagain, I always enjoy reading your post and others must also, judging from your thumbs up count…I must say your choice in avatars is disturbing to me.. I am laughing while writing this because I do find humor in the fact that I thought the first one was weird and figured you would eventually change it..Then when you did, I just wanted to punch that bitch in the face who is perpetually flipping me off…Maybe that was the effect you was looking for..You have changed my perspective to some extent about judging people to quickly based on visual perceptions…Thanks and keep up the very readable postings…Ha Ha Ha Looking at her again punching her would not be enough..maybe some rough anal…

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.
