I’m sick of the illegal alien problems in the USA.
I’m sick of advocates for illegal aliens—they want to bring in more impoverished/oppressed people from around the world when our government can’t even take care of our own citizens who are poor and homeless.
We have over 300,000,000 citizens to deal with—a very expensive problem! So I don’t want to hear anyone saying we should let people in because their lives are s~~~ty and their neighborhoods are violent. Guess what? My life is s~~~ty too, but no government is giving donations to me so I can live in a nicer neighborhood and buy more stuff. I have to get out of bed and go to work. Many Americans live in violent neighborhoods—so it would make sense to me if state governments would spend money on hiring more police officers instead of allowing the children of illegal aliens to go to school and get free meals.
There’s a current political issue of children in Central American countries running away from home and crossing the U.S. border. They are sometimes caught by border patrol agents and sent to foster homes. Why? If I had my way I’d find out who their relatives are (in their country of origin) and put them on an airplane back to where they came from. That wouldn’t cost the taxpayers more than $500. I don’t want to let the parents of these children off the hook. I don’t want them to come to the border and expect taxpayers to pay for their kids. They need to keep their kids, and find a way to earn an income. They decided to have kids! All the responsibility for their welfare belongs to them, not the U.S. government!
I shouldn’t be taxed to provide welfare for people who can’t manage their lives properly and continue to birth kids in spite of the crisis they are in. The federal government gets $3000 out of my paychecks each year. That money should be spent on government services that will make MY life better, such as: being able to drive on a street with no potholes or adding an extra lane to a highway. Otherwise, let me keep the $3000 so I can pay off my car loan.
I’m being taxed, but the politicians are representing people who can’t vote. Does that make sense? Some of these politicians act like there’s not much we can do about illegal aliens. Their reasoning is: “Well, they’re here, so we may as well give them welfare and drivers licenses and college grants for their children.” BULLS~~~! It may be impossible to track down and deport every illegal alien who crosses the border, gets smuggled in a ship, or overstays his/her visa, but you can reduce the incentive for others to come to this country by CUTTING OFF ALL WELFARE PROGRAMS! Meanwhile, people around the world are waiting in line to come here LEGALLY, and they pay the fees and pass the citizenship test. Some of these politicians just look the other way and pretend that their situation isn’t unfair compared to someone who just walks across the border, gets a job from a shady employer, and doesn’t pay taxes.
The U.S. government needs to have about 3.5 trillion dollars a year just for operational expenses. Money is spent on the military, Social Security, Medicare, education, healthcare, various social services, law enforcement, etc. They have to BORROW money because a lot of people don’t want to pay more taxes for all these services. Well then, those who are not willing to pay more taxes need to shut their mouths if they want to add more illegal immigrants to this country. A lot of illegal immigrants are poor, and federal/state governments pay for poverty—and social ills connected to poverty—in more ways than one: welfare, law enforcement, education, health care, etc. Managing the lives of poor people costs billions of dollars. The last thing I want to see is the addition of more poor people into this country—particularly those that don’t use birth control!
Any American that feels sympathy for people living in poverty anywhere in the world is free to send his/her own money to charities or directly to a family in need. Stop saying “WE” need to take care of them. YOU TAKE CARE OF THEM WITH YOUR OWN MONEY! I have bills to pay.
