The title says it all Gentlemen. If you grew up with WGN on your television as a child or young man, you should have fond memories of the great broadcaster by the name of Harry Caray.

Post your favourite videos of your fondest memories here.

Man I miss 70’s and 80’s baseball. I swear If I could find a way to get all the games on dvd or some s~~~ from back then I would pay big bucks for it. I would really like to be able to have the option to see entire seasons of each team from each and every year. I would watch the early 80’s Phillies with Rose, Carlton, and Schmidt. Late 80’s A’s with Henderson, Canseco, McGwire. 70’s Reds, s~~~, I would even watch the mid to late 80’s Dodgers. Gibson’s gymp homer in 88 was pretty cool even though I despised L.A. Gwynn on the Padres would be fun to watch, and Brett’s .390 season would be sweet to see too. Yankees in the early Mattingly days… There has to be complete footage from every game right? Why don’t they release it in complete sets by team and season???

THX, Tony Gwynn was one of the purest hitters I have ever seen. He has my ultimate respect. +1

Hit .289 his rookie year then ran off 19 straight seasons over .309, and usually WAY over, then retired after the 20th season having hit .324, could have easily played a few more years in his early 40’s there.
