U.S. tried to limit the strikes, but now they risk triggering a wider war

The U.S.-led coalition strikes in Syria were designed to deter President Bashar Assad’s regime from launching further chemical attacks without collapsing his shaky government and drawing the United States further into a lengthy civil war.

    It’s a tricky balance.

The attacks were described by the Pentagon as precise and aimed exclusively at the regime’s chemical weapons facilities. Officials also said the strike was larger than a similar attack on the Assad regime launched last year.

Personally I think last night was a big nothing burger. The ball is in the court with Putin and Assad. I think in the morning it will be just the next day as the two do not lob the ball back. Having a good laugh at the effort put in that took out a building. Putin seeing ruble signs in his eyes as the S400 preformed and sales to be made around the world.

Trump supporters slam decision to launch strikes against Syria

Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham both questioned Trump’s decision Friday to launch strikes in retaliation for a chemical weapons attack last weekend that the U.S. has attributed to the Syrian government

Michael Savage, a radio host and author, tweeted that “sad warmongers hijacking our nation”

Alex Jones broke down in tears while speaking out against the military action.

Ann Coulter also shared her opposition to the strike, retweeting a series of other conservative or right-wing figures who condemned the move and resurfacing Trump’s own past tweets against military action in Syria.

Mike Cernovich and Laura Loomer also ripped Trump over the military strike in Syria.

creating terror in the people. Bankers and politicians
create terror and therefor become the terrorist.
    Bombs are terrifying correct?

Those who would give up freedom for
    security deserve neither.

Governments must create villains so they can
justify their claims that we need them to protect
    us.

    I waive their protection.

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

There are two opposing forces in the ME – One is Israel and the other Saudi Arabia. Both are covering their politically motivated expansionist policies with religion.

The Saudis are instigators of Wahhabi terrorism which they hope to export worldwide and have been successful to a degree. The control of the oil and gas trade is their immediate objective as well as chaos in the EU.

Israel is looking to create The Greater Israel that stretches from Syria to Lebanon.

The problem for both is one country that they cannot use religion or politics against – The Islamic Republic of Iran.

For both Israel and Saudi Arabia to succeed in their own way, Iran has to be destroyed as the guarantor of Shiite resistance to both Wahhabi terrorism and Zionism. Hezbollah and Hamas are sworn to Iran to defend the Shiite cause.

Therein lies the problem. For Israel and Saudi Arabia to succeed Iran needs to be destroyed. Only the US-led coalition has the ability to do this with the backing of the corrupt UN body.

Hence the need for Russia ans China as counterweights. Both Russia and China have complementary and overlapping reasons to do this.

For Russia, the fall of Iran means terrorism through the Caucus regions and for China through the Uighurs of Xinjiang. Plus China is keen to develop the OBOR as an economic pacifier in the ME region.

Since the US-led bloc cannot dislodge Syria as a state, it is a foregone conclusion the end of the US Empire is near. Russia does not need to do anything excessive – just keep the status quo. China will do the rest economically.

Israel’s attacks are an act of desperation but of no real consequence. When the US secedes from the region – as it must- Israel will have to negotiate for peace on less-than-favourable terms.

Sorry it is not Israel vs Saudi Arabia. You have not been reading/watching the news/events. It is Iran vs Saudi Arabia. Israel is somewhat aligned with Saudi Arabia.

No sorry – the real reason the US is involved is the Greater Israel project via the Israel-US lobby. Please look that up.

I will give two links to get you started. It is impoorant you understand the depth of Israel involvement. The Saudis have no significant way to shape US policy.
